I know some people like to dismiss this game but i still love it. I believe they blended horror and action really well. Doom is one of the GOAT video game franchises imo

Controversial but Doom 3 is my favourite one. That's including Eternal. Something about this game's atmosphere and setting that just works, imo. Other games in the series are awesome too but Doom 3 is unique. The gameplay was slower but it's the only Doom game with a tense horror-like atmosphere. You felt vulnerable and could get immerse into the situations. Nice change from being a unstoppable demon slayer machine. Wish they remade this classic...🤘🏽

I was a junior in high school when this came out. My older sister bought me a copy for PC (original doom 3) and I spent so much time on this game I even brought it to school for computer labs and played it my teacher even liked it lol

Nice. Kinda same here. Us twin brothers bought the game when we were in our early school years. We used to buy and hoard video games because we didnot had a powerful pc. Those days graphics card was costly. Later years we played so many games together... Doom 3, farcry 1, played so many shooters.

I play on Ps4, and I didn't know that you could run in hell by pressing the button all the time, in the normal world you only press it once to run, but in hell I did that and it only gave me a little push because I only pressed and released the button like in the normal world and that's why the guardian killed me. I found out you could do it until I got to the boss of The Lost mission (Sorry if I'm typing it wrong, I'm using Google Translate)

Yeah you get unlimited stamina in hell levels

I've used BFG + rocket launcher to defeat the Guardian - BFG for Seekers, rockets for Guardian. 10 rockets to win. In Russian localization SoulCube talks with male woise. :) The only weapon for Cyberdemon is SoulCube. Others are for "charge" it. Beserk hunter - Gatling gun is more effective hat a shotgun.

This is one of the best games of all time! Doom 1 broke so many grounds that its greatness is undeniable... Doom 2 just built on that momentum and in my opinion bested it.... Then Doom 3. The Doom fandom pretty much showed it wasn't ready for the franchise to break new heights. The funny thing about the whole flashlight thing is that it was a staple in so many well respected games. Anyways, they appeased the weak and added a mounted flashlight because it's expected of guns in the future, thanks for limiting its usage to a point to retain some difficulty. I'm proud to still have my copy of DOOM 3 on computer. I remember the feel of it and how it took the game to so many new heights. It was just too way ahead of its time or the fandom was too narrow-minded upon release. It was amazing! I can see the influence in so many other successful game franchises. Being so great its hard to recognize is usually a great thing! Go DOOM 3!

I still say it’s this guy who is in the new doom games. I mean the double barrel is basically the same as well. Slap a grappling hook on the end of it and there you go. The doom guy was trapped in hell after the first two games. Doom marine was still alive fighting.

Either way he's a badass and if you know of any more info that might suggest he is, that'd be great. It'd be another great tale for DOOM guy, but if it wasn't him that's legit bad-assness to full capacity and hats off to him!

@zs1962 I literally said. Doom guy. The doom guy. The unnamed marine from the first two games. Was trapped in hell. It was even part of the half ass story for those both games. He ended up after defeating the primevil or whatever. Thst the gateway from hell was forever closed. Trapping doom guy in hell. Now as for the doom marine. Which was the character that was made for the 3rd game brining the games into the modern era with 3d modeling and all that. He wasn't trapped hell. He was fighting the forces of hell while on a planet or space station if I remember correctly. He never died. He was never trapped somewhere. An if anything is the one who knew how to fly spaceships and so on. So to me. The doom marine. Is the one that is being used with these 2019 release of doom up to the bs ending of creating a pardox where the ultimate big bad was the creator of the universe and without him being alive it destroys everything in it. Lazy writing.
