Late reply but you have to kill all the enemies in the previous room to unlock the door then sprint to the hallway ready to fire at swann and the bodyguard. Doing that rewards the player with the BFG very early in the game albeit with just one clip. You have to time it perfectly and make sure you don’t hit the tanks on the side of the room or it’s instant death.

@@traxler5730 Neither. There's a source port of Doom 3 for Android called DIII4A. Download the apk of that, then put 2004 Doom 3 "base" folder (BFG edition not supported) onto sdcard/diii4a/. You can play with touchscreen control, a controller, or kb+m (kb+m seems to work only when rooted apparently, haven't tested this).

Got this gane when i was 8 years old. Never finished it till I was like 13 lol. The game scared the crap out of me i couldn't play it. Then the campaign was so hard, it took me a year to finish. Sometimes spent a month on fighting one boss lmao. Its crazy its exactly how i remember it. For a game made in 2004 this game has incredible graphics. The New Dooms don't feel near as scary. This game was dark and gorey, and has creepy sounds and realistic blood. New dooms have too much lighting, and the creatures look more like aliens then Demons and all the blood and gore is corny and too bright of a color. This was deffinetly the best doom in my opinion. I played the sh*t out of this and Quake 4 when I was younger.

Thanks for doing this. I’m playing on PS4, and while my time was 3x longer, (2hrs 48, but I wasn’t actually trying to get close to your time, so this time actually surprised me) and I can’t time rocket jumps properly, so had to take the long route sometimes, but this was actually quite helpful on getting through it faster than it would if I’d attempted to play on my own. The rocket door trick for delta 2, the elevator run and the cavern drop were some examples of times it really helped. To be fair, I did the usual campaign in 10 hrs 2 mins on veteran, so to get the trophy, I could have just played on rookie, ran through and still get the achievement, but I did not want to spend 5+ hours on this shitty game. So yeah, thanks very much for doing this.
