Doom Delta

Doom Delta is a Doom mod created by DrPyspy based on the Doom Bible and other original concepts that didn't were used in the public versions of this epic id Software's first person shooter. Doom Delta features an almost totally new arsenal, a fully functional helmet with minimap as HUD, a score system for collected treasures and awards for kills, a new intermission screen that displays the score, new sprites, authentic sound design, and four different playable characters inspired in the Doom Bible, these being the mod's classes.
The PWAD worked here on GZDoom 2.4 and 3.1, with the IWADs from Doom II: Hell on Earth, The Ultimate Doom, Final Doom and from both Freedoom's phases. I didn't notice anything wrong with any of that.

Are you sure? I didn't notice it since I played with Maps of Chaos in this video, but I tried here without it and the levels look the same. Also, I didn't found any maps on the PK3 files.

Lorelei Chen - Lorelei is the fastest of the four characters in more ways than one. She sacrifices the ability to sprint for enhanced base speed, and has an increased fire rate. John Pietrovich - John is an all-around type of character. He has increased damage resistance, but otherwise functions identically to the Doom Marine in terms of stats. Dimitri Paramo - Dimitri is a tank. He can soak up damage like nothing, but is extremely slow compared to the others. Luckily, he has increased accuracy to compensate. Thi Barret - Thi is a glass cannon. She moves fast, and she works great in close quarters. However, she can be overwhelmed faster than the other classes, and dies more quickly.

Hey great video, I've recently gotten into doom mapping for classic doom, and have become obsessed with the doom bible and the pre release alpha and beta material. After a long time trying to find a working port of the predoom resources in a wad or something so i can play it with a modern system, i finally found something. Heres a link( deathz0r.slipgate.org/alpha.php )to a site where at the bottom you can download doom alpha 0_4 and doom alpha 0_5 resources in a ported doom data file form. They work with doom2, works with gzdoom, not sure about zandorum, it has a lot of stuff, not just maps, it runs with doom delta too, but i think there is a bit of confliction with some of the weapons and sprites. I thought it was awesome so thought i would share. Works with bologonygore too :)

This mod is awesome so awesome in fact every time when I load up the ultimate doom on Steam it loads doom Delta but one downside I have to use lzdoom to get it to work

It's pretty stupid that 2 of the 4 are females. Have one token female if you have to, but it should be like mortal kombat 1.... one female, 6 males, and the female was lame, and her fatality was literally blowing you a kiss. Also, the height/weight stats for the 4 CLEARLY do not match their pictures. That monstrous mountain of a man was supposedly only 191 pounds and 5'11", while the tiny, delicate female to his side whose head comes up to his chest level is 5'6" and 130 pounds? If she's 5'6" and 130 pounds, then he's almost 7 feet tall and over 400 pounds, I guarantee it.
