Imagine a DOOM themed sparrow in destiny that spawns like that. The hellish demonic symbol appears first when you summon your sparrow. Hellfire and demonic screams echo out of the symbol. From it comes a chain bound demonic looking sparrow that breaks loose of those chains and floats next to you. Then you start to hear the theme from doom eternal pick up as you get on and speed off.

i am loving how you tellthe stories of the codex. thats how i found your work actually, i wanted someone to read the codex so i didnt have to do all that reading myself cause of a few issues when i read a lot of text mytself it causes massive eye strain and i cant really remember most of what i read like 80% of a page of a novel ill forget when i get to the bottom of that one page but when i hear it audiably i can retain it and follow it

So short recap. So there's wraith energy, hell energy, and argent energy. Argent is a mix of the other two. Hell energy took ages to make and is why hell never expanded rapidly. Makrys show up and see the wraith energy and go hmmmmm. Later makyr and argenta meet hell. Maykrs discover they can make argent energy using hell and wraith energy. *SPOILER TERRITORY* maykrs make a deal with hell to supply them with limitless worlds to consume to make more hell energy and a factory to make it much faster and to use argent energy. This roughly when the betrayal happens and most true knight sentinals get killed off. Sorry that's it's rough if you have questions just tag me and I'll clean up the answers. Didn't want to spend all night typing lol.

amazing lore video, but in your gameplay, quickswitch to another weapon, then back to super shotgun when stunning the marauder. Shotty to stun, quickswitch to balista and fire, quickswitch back to super shotty and hit again. You cant get 7 shots off this way and kill him in two stuns. Ive done it on stream on nightmare and it makes him incredibly easy. again, freaking amazing and well done lore video. thanks!

Byf, what you said about hubris, you couldn't any more right if you tried. As Abraham Lincoln once said "Nearly all men can face adversity. To truly test a man's character, give them power." But, More to the point of the argenta, I thought it was at least implied in the Doom universe that they are humans? (Spoilers ahead) I have been collecting everything I can get my hands on but I haven’t taken a look at the lore logs. I really hope when I do or when you get around to it, you can fully connect Doom to eternal and to any other cannon games. Just because in eternal he has the classic doom guy helmet from doom 1-3D but in 2016 it is the slayer armor and same as eternal. But either way, love the branching content. ❤️

Doom slayers history kinda, definitely major differences but the core concept of it is in their, sounds like the entire history of the imperium of man. He was at peace in the beginning, then he went to war against an unknown foe, thought to be done only to go to war again, and again going to war against the demons, thought to find a peace of prosperity and calm with the sentinels only to engage in war again, during his age of war an act of betrayal of sentinels and the very gods the sentinels believed in were fakes, and on their crusade against the traitors a sentinel swayed by darkness betrayed them and left their kingdom and way of life destroyed, but the slayer fights on and any memories of peace and prosperity are long forgotten with nothing but war and hate guiding his every move. After all their is no peace, there is only war.
