So i (like a bunch of people) have been following the making of this video on twitter and i'd say this was worth the suffering you went through. Good job! Personally I think the Marauder is a fine demon, he takes the Doom formula of each demon having a good way to counter them and cranks it to 11, if like you said you make sure the only thing to fight is him it makes it a lot easier. If you want to deal with him quickly then quick swap between the Super Shotgun and Ballista, it only takes around 3 times before you can glory kill (I know at the time of writing this, this video came out 2 years ago so this might not be helpful or relevant but I felt like throwing this in)

Honestly, Marauders are easy to deal if you let them run at you hit them with the ballistic +SSG. It's a godly tactic and works too well. You could also use the Unmaykr but I prefer Ballista until you get Unmakr.

Basically the BFG is insanely powerful in one blast. But if there are plenty of enemies spawning or your fighting a boss, the Unmaykr is good.

I think that the Meathook needs to become an integrated ability in the future. Aside from the obvious usefulness when paired with the super shotty, it's the main reason I use the Super Shotgun so much in Eternal.

Funny how the Marauder nowadays is now as threatening as a kitten with a bean bag. They're honestly more of a relief to fight, if you are alone with him. Having a marauder thrown into the Demon group fights can be tough. Wich is more ridiculous is that the Archvile is more annoying than the Marauder himself, but for some reason people where hyped of the Archvile's return, considering in Doom 2 they were friggin tough Edit: I know 2, 3 years have passed, but there is an option to turn off tutorials entirely for it. I think its in the game/Gameplay section of the settings

idk if anyone gonna be reading this but i have an idea, multiplayer ranks where if play battlemode you are givin a sets of ranks based on how experience you are, and you rank up by playing battlemodes and doing challenges. kinda like how tf2 had the exact same idea but idk if it got updated or not, but this is how you should balance each and every multiplayer game, looking at you call of duty!

Honestly the Maurader isn't that bad. It's more about navigating around the area and avoiding other demons as you fight him. Just kite him backwards, Super Shotgun him twice when hes open and repeat. Honestly the damn WOLF he summons is more threatening to me because the fuck is hard to hit.

honestly, i think that the bfg is better. To back up this it kills alot of demons, will kill the marauders in one shot, and the unmaker don't kill most demons. However, the unmaker makes it so that taking on the bosses in the game.So yeah they are both good, but ill stick to my bfg in a demon swarm.
