One of my favorite maps of hr2 and easy after everything you go through. It's brutal in some areas, but it isn't long enough for me to rage if I get killed or something. A stray Cyberdemons rocket is usually all it takes but I'm used to the Cyberdemons in small corridors. Also, it's all one on one battles, so you aren't totally screwed.

That map is pretty easy in compare to most of the earlier maps. One fun fact, "Fear of the Dark" is a great song by Iron Maiden :)

I like the soundtrack and the pace in this level. It feel more quiet and kinda like the lvl16. It s still a hard one cause the pace can trick you and one of the cyberdemon at the middle can catch you of guard but this map is clearly a calm before the storm of the last episode. A good map but not the best. Clearly for me the best map in hr2 is the 29 and even nowadays I like the soundtrack the pace and the design of map 29.

@@decino the funny things is that I find HR2 really harder than the 1st but more fun,more nervous without all tedious part ,and with lesser baron.Only map I really hate from HR2 are 04 and 09 (and 28 maybe,I will say when I will replay it)

Have you tried the regular prboom+, with software mode? I can't get over how ugly openGL is and how much it kills the atmosphere. This map that was supposed to be dark and spooky instead looks very bland because of the lack of Doom's original lighting mechanics. Your choice though.

I believe glboom-plus also has the option to use the classic lighting system. I agree that the OpenGL one is quite ugly sometimes, but I guess I got too used to it. I may consider switching after HR2.
