This is a very interesting remake, I've never heard anything like this before. Although this version is pretty good, it doesn't really feel like Shawn's Got the Shotgun anymore. Instead, you've transformed it into something quite different. Of all the Doom tracks, Shawn's Got the Shotgun has the strongest, most defined "feel" or "spirit" to it IMO - it's a track that doesn't respond well to improvisation. I have yet to find a version of this that 100% captures the feel of pure guitar and percussion only that SGTS just screams IMO. No artist has managed this yet, even though it would really only take simply playing the original melody, unchanged, on a guitar and percussion. Your version is quite simply something completely different - but even if it's nothing like SGTS, it's a very good track nonetheless :) .

Only issue I have with a lot of covers for this particular track...it's very DRUMS FORWARD in reality. All the impact from this track comes from its percussion, and the habit is to put this guitar front and center, which is incorrect.
