Really good performance for a 12MHz 286! Screen tearing can be avoided using two or three screen pages, this works fine on CGA cards

It is using three screen pages. It's just hard to get a good picture with my phone.

Maybe try making the sprites and gun a higher resolution while keeping the environment the same. the reason because its very hard to tell whats going on. this project is epic though

Actually, the walls already are half as detailed as the sprites.

would it be possible to make the map textures 1x1 pixels blank images? so the sprites would be more recognizable (and may reduce load times)
