Performance of the game will be a bit of gambling. It depends what people got in their rig and their expectation. A 2060 RTX could be good for 1080p80fps mid-high with no raytracing.

Yep.. This track is good, but the mixing is just not,.. Sadly. Drums are way to loud, and sounds a bit raw. BFG Division is heavly compressed and mixed to perfection. But hope for the best soundtrack wise.

Personaly I'm more looking into the difficulty than the pace. High pace doesn't necessarily mean hard. In Doom Eternal, once you get the doom dance flow, you are practically unkillable so it didn't really mattered anymore what was the arena or the type of demons in it, or quantity. New combat mechanic combined with adjustable sliders for almost everything ( projectile speed, window for parry, game speed) looks pretty promising to me!

The fact that there aren't different unique kill animations for each monster's glory kill is honestly a massive letdown for me. It was my favorite part of the first 2 doom eternal games, and for it to not be a feature in this one imo is kind of a middle finger to me and all other glory kill enjoyers by taking away one of the most enjoyable and iconic visible aspects of the game. I'd happily wait for you guys to cook this game for another (x) amount of months if it meant getting glory kill animations back for this game.

My only critisism as well. Hoping its intentional in the trailer not to show it all as to leave room for suprise. Noticed it quickly and its a massive downgrade and letdown if there really isnt monster specific glory kills. All i see here is punching or kicking demons to oblivion which just isnt enough for me

For those who don't know, the team who worked on Eternal's MP were sniffing their own farts and didn't listen to the staff members who voiced concerns about how weird and not fun the mode was shaping up to be. Because of that we got the bull we got. That screw up is the reason they didn't get the chance to make another multiplayer. Multiplayer is part of DOOM's DNA. It goes back to the first games. The new Doom 1+2 rerelease added multiplayer back to doom for instance and people love it. You can even play the story together. Leaving out multiplayer in this game had nothing to do with saving resources and everything to do with Eternal's muck up.

@@AdamLAD A lot of that lore is fairly new to the series, which is fine but I do wish they organized it better. Much of this lore was added in, at a quick unrelenting pace. They tossed in a lot of lore, which contradicts with some of the original plot points. And it's to the extreme, I don't personally mind it. But I do hope they find some legitmate ground, and focus on telling the entire tale from start to finish instead of different stories with all sorts of unspecified utterly random lore. This is an issue a lot of games have unfortunately, it's beautiful to see a very diverse storyline and different elements. But it should never come at the sacrifice of concreteness. Though it is getting better, much better. And for that, I gotta say. I adore it
