Before anyone mentions it, Serenity Shrine is probably more Chinese inspired that Japanese, I didn't have a lot of sleep when it came time to record the Voiceover. Also apologies if the audio is a little unbalanced towards the end, Divine Frequency was genuinely sending me loopy.

I see a lot of doom mods name their shotguns trenchguns but I don't think I have seen a single one where it is an actual tenchgun. As what makes a shotgun a 'trenchgun' is having a bayonet. Although divine frequency at least has the perforated barrel jacket, the point of which is to make the barrel safe to grab during bayonet fighting. :P Pop a knife on the end of it and give a shooty-stab alt fire for dooms sake!

0:37 - I just got into playing DOOM mods last year, and I've come across the works of SCUMHEAD thanks to this channel! Very impressive stuff. I haven't played Vomitorium but I have been working through Shrine II, I'm sure Vomitorium is well worth the playthrough. Lotta obvious talent and appreciation for game design. Brilliant stuff. I've paid money for video games that weren't half the quality of SCUMHEAD's work.

Vomitoreum could use some improved textures; the game just looks like a mostly featureless blob of purple. Maybe that's the point, but it's the weakest looking mod visually. Golden Souls looks like a lot of fun and the kind of game a Mario loving, Doom-averse friend might get into. Divine Frequency looks 100% my jam and I'm so into it.
