You've explained you work-flow and methodology very nicely. That's the kind of "furniture" that great-great-grandchildren of the current owner would appreciate. And it's a compliment.

@olafbigandglad ... Season's greetings to all ... mullions are building structural members that go between individual windows; at least in UK terminology. So, in a stone built house they would have been made of stone. Glazing bars == muntins, these are parts of a glazed structure that exist between panes of glass inside a window or door.

I got 3 Fein tools now & the build quality is absolutely superb. I got the top of the range 18v MultiMaster multi-tool, collated drywall gun & a combo drill. They are expensive tools but the quality puts most other manufacturers to shame, even other so called premium brands.

@@BradshawJoinery Sure love the content. There is not a lot of detail out there, hard to do it on top of a full-time job even if it's just playing with blocks of wood :) Hope 2024 works out well for you.

This is nearly exactly the same as how I set out & make doors. I use a 0.5mm pencil though (so I get consistent sharp lines without needing to keep sharpening the pencil) also I square over the first set out line, then hold the tape on the 100mm from there. You can set out the door straight on the styles without needing a sketchup drawing. Nice work!
