Technically not stealing. Under the dasher contract, you can unassign any order, at any time, for any reason. Dashers can unassign up to 10 orders per 100 accepted orders. Once the food has been picked up, they cannot send that same food out again. The restaurant claims it as a loss on their taxes, so the cost of that order comes directly out of their total taxable income in April - basically the restaurant still pockets the profit, and doesn't have to pay the taxes. No one is REALLY losing - except MAYBE Doordash, who pays to have the order remade at a lower rate than the first order; because they understand how restaurants claim losses. Wish more people understood this.

Door dash gives a debit card to drivers for this purpose…so hes saying drive to the restaurant and wait for one of these orders and check the amount of the order because that’s the amount door dash put on the debit card… and use the money on the debit card to order whatever you want within the same price amount of the customers order… this is so stupid and will get your account banned real fast

Umm, if you spend the money you will make on food, you still have to pay gas and upkeep on the vehicle. It may not seem like more maintenance than typical driving, but it adds up quick. Additionally, you still have spend the money and wait till tuesday to get the money paid back. Just say "keep your paycheck for bills, and dash on the side to pay for living expenses." I just summarized your whole video in a sentence. Plenty of drivers do just that.

Works for some crap food places and might save some time but definitely doesn't save any $$. Won't work in many restaurants b/c they have already been preparing the order way before you were assigned and these systems are designed to have you arrive once its ready. I kind of do that with Instacart... if I am at a store why not shop for the food I need anyway? As long as I can separate it in different areas of the basket I am good.
