Hey Sara, I didn't work labor day. But it picked up today. (Tuesday). I made $100.50 in 5 hours on Doordash. Kids went back to school today. I had 2 $22.00 orders. I expect it to pick up because of the kids going back to school. A lot of them order Doordash and have it delivered to their schools. So it was a pretty good day!

I started out at 11 am yesterday, but realized my driver side front tire tread was shredding. Needed 4 tires, Now I'm $800 out after tires, labor, balance and all 😩 So, did not get to see how it was for DD yesterday

You might need an alignment. Same happened to me i was going to drive for amazon flex but my front left tire was completely flat, had to go to walmart and get 4 new tires 18’’ Lexani brand $311 for all four of them 😊

I'm in st louis. Yesterday I started to have to take A pic on my "hand to me' orders. Even said to " have reciepent"in pic. I'm happy about it since I got stuck twice with people lying that they never recieved order on the "hand to me" orders

One more thing.. Back in the day of film cameras you used to have people going door to door to take "professional " Pics of your kids and/or family in the house for a gig. Imagine that today! An alternative was the guy with the pony to put the kids on for a pic. Oh man the kids see that pony it was like seeing an ice cream truck..mom hey mom can I get a pix o. The pony please, please mom.. Worked like a charm! This was in Chicago believe it or not.

I was meeting someone at orlando to go to Universal on Labor Day. I got there an hour early, so I decided to turn on DD and UE. I was 15 minutes from the park and thought the tourists nearby would be ordering, but I didn't get a single order that day. To be fair, the park was empty too, which was nice. I assumed maybe literally everyone went to the beach.

I did good over Labor Day weekend, but Sunday was a nightmare with constant rain coming down so hard that it was hard to see. This week has been very slow and the offers are mostly crap. UE is usually good, but this week has been dead or wanting you to travel 20 miles to make $10 and that is a no. DD has been a little better, but not great.

Saturday was good for us on DD. We took Sun/Mon off expect far orders for little money. Today, Tuesday 9/3 was slow for us in the Phoenix, AZ southwest suburbs. We made 2/3s our normal amount today & even worked up until 2:30pm end of our scheduled shift. Today, we took a couple to keep our acceptance to 28-30%. It’s normally in the teens. I don’t see a difference in better orders. On the DD rate page where ratings are, it states it’s your last 100 orders but a couple lower ratings aren’t dropping off and it’s been over 100 deliveries. It’s even a new month. I’m also seeing acceptance rate are 2 different totals…summary page vs detail page. It seems the detail page is most accurate.

DoorDash for the W lol I just started doing Uber eats today and was so mad after I completed my first order cus when I accepted it, it said 8.35 but when I completed it I only got 3.35 I was like what?! But later I noticed I had received the tip does Uber do this on all orders?

Yeah Uber Eats tips take 1 hour to clear. This is because the customer has 1 hour to change the tip amount after delivery.
