...well not so secret :-) here's just a quick video of me explaining some of the techniques I've been using lately in my cuts - hopefully it's coherent! follow me on instagram @dopez1200 if you want to keep up with me when I'm not posting videos on here because I post quite a bit of content on there. enjoy the tutorial and feel free to comment if you want further explanation!

Dope stuff Dopez! Yo, that beat is "Cinematics" by Dujeous. D-Styles and Flare used the loop on their Pharaohs of Funk CD.

This is downright insane. I wish discovered it earlier. Never heard about whips, California rolls or the importance of transformers over crabs like that. Thanks. 6 years late. But thanks.

I'm amazed at the minimalist movements on your fader hand. All i hear is really complex scratches but looking at your fader hand i see little if at all not any movement at all. When I try to cut i end up with aching arms like i'm using too much effort. How do you manage to do it?

You make that shit look too easy. Not everyone can bend all their front fingers on that 45 degree angle like you do. Your front fingers looks like they are bent in half. Ridiculously great scratching I must say. You make that shit look too easy. Much props.

Hey man I found you through the scratching world and I really want to emulate your balance between musicality and technicality. I really appreciate the interview you did with Si Hargreaves. I love soaking up priceless advice from the masters looking back on their musical experience. I love what you said about not getting discouraged, because you're right it's very easy to get down on yourself because scratching really is very difficult and unnatural physically. Looking forward to any new content thanks again!

Dopez, thx man for being awesome and sharing the skills. I can’t seem to figure out how to cut up like clover tears. I’m thinking it would be like a orbit but with the tear in the middle of the 2 clicks in/ on both side’s of the forward and back movements. Does that make sense?

Sick man! I love the two click flare orbits I'm gonna learn it with the whips like you have shown here! Do you have any tips on learning chirps at higher speed? I can do them slow but they sound awful when I try to speed up lol.
