I don't understand why any national finals would invite Italy to be on jury duty, they have shown time and time again in Eurovision that their jury is not predictive of the broad taste of Eurovision jurors. Which defeats the whole point of having an international jury in national selections in the first place.

Lusting over Eugen again Shane? 😆 I hope he comes back with something a bit more in his vocal range. I feel this song was just a bit too much for him vocally. He was better tonight than the semi-final, but some of those notes were still a bit shaky. Damir needs to come back with a stronger song and get to Eurovision, he fully deserves it for sure. Marcela was great like she was in the semi-final and Vinko is amazing and would have absolutely loved to see him at Eurovision. But it seriously shouldn't surprise you that the basic-ass Euro fans that populate the KZbin live chat comments found it boring. If it is not some pop girlie shaking her booty most of the time they couldn't care less. So there was no chance they would be able to appreciate something as classy as Vinkos' entry. The jury voting was 4 regional Croatian juries and 4 international juries. Interestingly all 4 Croatian juries gave their 12 to Baby Lasagna, perhaps were pointedly considering he wasn't even originally in the line up. The results of the 4 international juries is perhaps more interesting tho, a 12, a 10, then a 4 and a 0 for Baby Lasagna. Perhaps a taster of what may be to come in May in terms of jury result. Also it doesn't surprise me at all that Italy blanked it, it is seriously not something they would go for, I guess Italy are very much the anti-UK when it comes to international juries in NFs, thinking back to the UK having 'No Rules' as their favourite in Finland 😆 Super happy with this result, Baby Lasagna gave a much more polished and confident performance compared to the semi-final, and I can only see things getting better from here. I would alter the styling a little bit, and just neaten up the choreo and camera angles a bit. But he is well on his way in my opinion. For me this is the first entry this year I could potentially see winning in May, and checking the bookies odds this is closing in on Ukraine, so I think in the next few days this could even become the bookies favourite. I think this has become my new number 1 of the year at the very least. I am just super happy that a random country like Croatia have delivered potentially the big fan favourite of the year, I don't think anyone had that on their bingo card before the 2024 season kicked off. And I would truly love for us to get a first time winner too, and moreso for a country like Croatia would had their glory days in the 90's, but very little since then.

Yes, i am happy with the result. The funny thing about this show really was when Boris didn´t show up at the stage xd. And everything was in croatian, so i didn´t understand a thing. But i think most of Eurovision fans can agree that the right person won. Many people are comparing it to käärija which i understand in some parts. Both of these songs (käärija and baby lasagna) had this kind of word or frase that is present throwout the song - cha cha cha and rim tim tagi dim. Also the song kind of switches, i mean in the song, there seemes to be different parts in the whole song. I am no expert in what these zanr´s are but i would say like electronic, rock and rap if i had to guess. Probably wrong but yes. But it is clear that they are completely different songs. And seemes to me that he isn´t copying Käärija. Käärija just opened the gates for different kind of entries. The song itself, i love the part of anxiety attacks. Because i don´t believe it is easy to kind of convey that kind of emotion but he does it successfully. Really one of my favourites from this year. And i wouldn´t believed it myself a year ago, that croatia would be up there for me. Wish Croatia the best from Estonia ❤

Omg BL definately looked like he was having an anxiety attack during the voting and after winning😅. About the final, just some notes: is it me or does that public look like they're on the most boring event in history😂😂😂??? I liked the little introduction tune in between though.
