First stop drama queen he doesn't die.secondly he loses his hand but that's not really bad if you think about being a mage Inquisitor. Certainly I don't know why Solas let it go so long and didn't take the damn hand a long time before.(I can only guess that has to do with all the rifts left in the world and it took years I guess close them. And without solas there to help stabilize it it probably just got worse till it had to go. But the slowly dying thing is hugely dramatic and not true.)

All of Dorian's romance interactions are heart-warming, but the one with Vivienne really sticks out to me. As a circle mage and court enchantress, Vivienne is Dorian's natural enemy and can never publicly express sympathy for a Tevinter mage, as it will undermine her reputation in The Game. By telling Dorian of the letter, she's basically letting him know she approves of the relationship and wishes them the best. An uncharacteristically magnaminous gesture of acceptance and dare I say, friendship, that Dorian, who had all but resigned himself to a life of eternal pariahhood, is caught off-guard by. Damn' the characterization in this game was spot on.

That last exchange fucking KILLED me when I was playing, even listening to it again is painful. Especially when Dorian claims he would've done something, it brings the images of long nights of the Inquisitor unable to sleep because of the mark. Then Dorian holding his Amatus, one hand on the mark and the other stroking the Inquisitor's head, easing the pain. Talking to him, hushing the whimpers leftover from horrid nightmares and the agony brought from it.

Dorian is Highborn. An outcast, but still of Noble birth. Sera is a Commoner, that's incredibly lowbrow, who's whole schtick is railing against the Nobles. Vivienne considers herself of high rank (there are many reasons why she'd be a glorified pet, best case scenario), thus is more accepting of a romance with Dorian than with Sera.

Actually just in case you didn't know Dorian has a preference Qunari. It doesn't really make much of a reference to anybody's physical appearance until he sees Qunari Inquisitor.. and then he says something about them being so large and muscled and I swear I've heard him talking about a bad stripper fantasy head abuot blurly Qunari.so just so you know your fantasies are your fantasies in his preferences are two different things much like Sara his preference leans toward Qunari. Granted they would both romance you as long as you're the right sexuality they don't care about your race when it comes down to it but they do have the preferences. Jesus I really hate being on your side but there is that sticking fact that if you don't romance him he and iron bull have hook up and it's apparently love real love unless you're involved but it's true love then. And if you like this style because even cold tells him that alone that got away with you would say yes or would have said yes and he's not hot putting it back home to see if he can reignite old flames. I mean when he's not romancing you instead he's with iron bull. So I usually either don't get iron bull or I make sure that he dies and I romance Dorian it's because I just don't trust iron bull he turns on you so easy. My favourite three romances in order is Cullen, Iron Bull and Dorian. I pick Cullen as the top one because of his character development, where he grew to love a mage despite of his past. But also because at the ending of trespasser you not only marry him but the epilogue you actually stay together. (Sera’s romance included) whereas all the others either betray you or leave you and it leaves you feeling empty

I'm still playing through dragon age origins of warden and Alistair then move onto Hawke and Fenris(Anders on another save) then I'll head straight for Dorian as he's absolutely charming, sweet and handsome. Plus he's a favourite. I may also do a romance for Cullen with a female elf. I wonder if you can actually reunite the Mage warden from origins with Cullen in inquisition. Must forget bull and Solas. If only the inquisitor and Dorian will not have to be apart for so long in the ending, same for Bull. I do love how romances go but feel sad for some that show that you'll be apart from your love.

This is a sort of "good bye" message the Inq. leaves to their final team in the last chase to meet Solas in Tresspasser. At the start of the romance Dori is scared that if the Inq leaves him later he will be very hurt. At that point in the dlc the Inq is dying. And thus the point where Dori will have his heart broken. Hope that makes sense.

The Ramdom Channel it's part of the tresspasser dlc. The Anchor is killing the Inquisitor faster and he kept it a secret from Dorian. Dorian found out and is deeply sad that he kept it a secret from him.

This is old, but I'll try to answer anyway: 5\1 are the chances they have to beat Coripheus (chances as in a bet). Dorian initially states the rate as 3\1, but they would decrease if he wasn't there (hence 5/1). As for why he adores the inquisitor it's because he did't get angry about him betting against Inky, instead he made a saracastic comment saying that he would take those odds (meaning he actually thinks that they might have even less chances to win xD)

Go to Dragonskeep website and set up the events you want to happen. Then export it into your inquisition new game save. You can set up whatever scenario you want without playing either game.
