@PersonaX Dorian is about to venture into the pit of vipers that killed his father and you think Bull wanted to join him as a trophy husband? And not as a bodyguard? The role he was ostensibly hired by the Inquisitor to be in the first place? Bull is Qunari af (even as a Tal-Vashoth) in that he wants/needs to be *useful* . The Inquisitor doesn't need their own mercenary band after the Exalted Council, so of course Bull takes other jobs. Dorian, on the other hand, really *could* use a whole security team, as evidenced by the fact that Bull actually *does* save him from assassination at some point.

So is Bull tbh. Every possible force in Thedas (the Qun, everyone else's stereotypes about Qunari, SEHERON) have tried to shape Bull in to little more than a mindless weapon, but he manages to work within that role to become a protector of a band of stray teenagers, almost like a big brother to a "demon" (Cole), *and* the potential lover of an actual Tevinter magister. His biggest fear about leaving the Qun is that he'll go "savage" and hurt people. Also his favorite color is pink 😊

Beg to differ. My romance with Dorian has been interesting this play through. We keep disagreeing on a lot. Dorian is very naturally opinionated, and take him into the wrong situations and you WILL have a fight. He and my quizzie have strikingly different political views and it comes up remarkably often. I'm actually really drawn by their relationship.

You gotta love the final scene with the Inquisitor chatting with Dorian about why he's staying. I gotta admit that when I saw the Bull homosexual encounter was so S&M oriented I was worried they were going to make some weird stereotype from it, but those two are consensual and healthy at it as could be hoped for. I think it's a better dynamic than even with the Inquisitor and Bull or the Inquisitor and Dorian, it was beautifully done.
