ADV Riding and Campfire Shenanigans at the Dork in the Road Campout

The first ever Dork in the Road campout was a resounding success. What an amazing weekend of ADV riding and motorcycle camping in beautiful central Oregon right off Oregon BDR section 5. We spent two days and three nights riding adventure and dual sport motorcycles up to Three Creek Lake, Tumalo Reservoir, Dee Wright Observatory, Skylight Cave, and even up to the top of the Cache Mountain expert section on the ORBDR. What an amazing group of guys and one heck of a fantastic weekend motorcycle camping trip.

Of the motorcycle events that I have attended over the years, I enjoyed this one the most. Even though I didn't know anyone else before attending, it felt like hanging out with a group of friends. The surroundings were beautiful and the riding was great, but it was most definitely the community that made this weekend as good and as special as it was. Hope to see you all again next year!
