@@stavtri987 You know, I was just about to complain about how Mario just keeps stating gameplay conventions whenever he faces an obstacle, but your comment about Luigi's complexity kinda got me thinking that maybe that's actually an intentional choice for how they want to depict Mario... Like, he is considered to be Mr. Video Game by many (though I haven't heard that in a while). In Dorkly he has starred in a lot of videos and he has faced of many very-similar adventures, so maybe through all the repetition and getting used to everything it shaped him to grow comfortable and lazy, never really leaving his comfort zone. His soliloquy, which on a meta-layer probably serves to remind the audience of simple gameplay conventions, has probably become some kind of bad habit which he aquired over the years of doing the same things over and over. In all of this, he remains a simple guy, but the type of simple guy who just won't challenge himself; challenges just happen to fall onto him, as the world around him changes, yet he remains the same. Luigi on the other hand is adapting to the changes by trying new things, even actively helping the world to change. He may forever be stuck in his brothers shadow, but we can agree that he has traits that make him outshine his sibling.

Turns out he was super smart! I think he's supporting various causes now, pet adoption centres, orphanages, and helps Labour unions. Good guy Luigi. He's doing good honest Philanthropy. He's also investing wisely in various smart Start-ups. And He's dating a really nice girl-next-door kinda woman, for the last 1 year or so. Maybe he's gonna marry and settle down, buy a good retirement home, raise children and stuff. It was pure torture in "Mario time" days but now, with his shit together, Luigi is the king of his world.

@J A. rarely some versions of Piranha Plants and Munchers are a bit genetically improved to become more powerful and indeed they can spam 3 or even 4-5 fireballs at the same time in some games. For example in SMB3 there's a single mutant Nipper Plant who can spam a lot of fireballs at the end of world 7-8 but for some reason it's the only plant that can do that in the entire game

Generating fire is not exactly an easy thing. Especially if the thing generating it is flammable itself. You'd need something to generate the initial combustion, something to keep it going, and something to project it away from you. That's a lot of body parts doing a lot of things. It's a miracle they can do it at all, let alone as quickly as they do. They aren't dragons after all.
