About rejecting the sweet dream filled with temporary illusions and waking up to reality. Not sure how that has anything to do with friendship. Was it just Aventurine saying "friend" a lot that gave you that impression?

I really loved how every time Mavuika passes the post, there are sometimes that they showed numbers, which represents the years she has been going through. By the end, although a bit fuzzy, you can see the number 499 in the back as Mavuika heads on forward for her purpose.

Tupac’s line about Menilek hit me like a truck. “Menilek’s headlock was so strong, it outlived him. That beast suffocated to death because it couldn’t break free from a dead man’s grip” That is easily one of the hardest lines I’ve ever heard. And it was delivered perfectly. Menilek was obviously a fun loving guy. He feared nothing, and despite his good nature he was clearly one of the fiercest warriors of his time. This short really did a lot of justice to these characters we’ve only heard stories of until now

I assume it was because of Lantern Rite coinciding with the Archony quest since they appear for Lantern rite. But yes, the trailer would have been in English. I assume thag the eng Vas won't be here for this patch even though the strike is over because the voices are recorded like 2 patches in advance of when it releases and the strike was going on then. The eng Vas will be back soon but I don't think they'll be here for this patch. It's sad but there's nothing we can do about it

No wonder she ultimately lost her sense of self and about to give up, until Hine brought her back. Also, it came right after the big battle against the Abyss: Mavuika lost all her friends and companions, witnessed Tupac dying in front of her, and herself was in terribly bad shape. Yet, already half broken, she was brought to her throne and sent into the Sacred Fire, and had to go on. And she's HUMAN. Just as Furina is human, and both nearly lost their minds because just had Neuvillette said: no human is supposed to stay alive for this long, less they would turn insane. That's what I call a powerful woman.

She's my second favorite Archon behind Nahida. She's still human, with years or death and war experienced, seeing her friends, people she's taught and protected die. The people she's looked up to and how she's outlived them all. It reminds me of Lumine in The Road not Taken animation and how alone we see her, how dejected and lost she feels for what she's doing and why she's doing it but with conviction that won't leave. Seeing how her little sister has been within her for 500 years to help her see this through makes me love her. That's why I'm pulling for her. I could care less about a motorcycle. Just knowing her back story and the pain she goes through make me feel connected with her as cheesy as it sounds. I genuinely like her character for what she is and stands for lol.

This is such a great animated short to show Mavuika's humanity. Yes she an archon, but she is also just a normal human as well. She'll make mistakes. She'll falter, questioning if what she's doing is the right course of action. And she had a support system as well, with the previous and current six heroes, as well as Hine. And i find it comforting that Hine was always the one to push her forward, even after death. Who knows, maybe if the spirit of Hine wasnt there, maybe she wouldnt have made it to present day.

That whole drama at the beginning of the year pissed me off because your positivity and love for the game are what makes your content so nice. It's refreshing to see someone who loves this game as much as I do and is able to criticize the things they do wrong BECAUSE you love it, and not out of some petty dislike of it, refreshing to see a "NEW VERSION IS AMAZING!" video in a sea of "EVERYTHING WRONG WITH X.Y VERSION" and listen to your commentary coming from a place of love for the game. Everytime i see Mavuika bruised or in certain positions, i remember Himeko’s death from Honkai Impact 3rd. Especially when she was tired and sitting on the bench, her eyes were somewhat lifeless just like Himeko’s were.
