So, Druids and Shamans can be easily differentiated on a scientific level. Shamans focus on abiotic factors, whereas druids focus on biotic factors which both together form an ecosystem.

+Nathan Barling As a matter of fact Illidan sucked at druidic magic, he was more attuned to the arcane, and then mastered fel magic. But Doron also mixed up the golden eyes unique nightelf feature with druidism. Night elves with golden eyes ( which Illidan, Malfurion and Tyrande did) are considered to be special and do great things in life,good/bad, not necessarily be good at druidism.

From what I learn you aren't born with antlers as a Night Elf, no matter how attuned you are with the druidic power. They grow the more you are attuned to the dream. Malfurion's horns, wings and fur grew after he spent a few millenia trapped in the dream. The more you connect with your animal spirits, the more aspects you take over.

Doronsmovies It's stated in the official description for the Balance spec that the spec is using a combination of the Nature magic & Arcane magic. Given that Night Elves (& maybe Tauren) are suspicious about the use of Arcane magic, how do you think this would affect roleplay for a Balance druid? How would their cultures respond to this combination of magics?

Does anyone think that if they added some more minor glyphs for shape-changing the druid would be a bit more fun, instead of cat form we get spider or raptor, bears get rhino or like something else. On the wiki I read about what you'd consider a sub-class called Savagekin or Feralkin. You mentioned them, but on the forums it also seems like there are groups of druids who choose that style of life. So I guess it would be possible to RP a Savagekin right?

I know that some sets are considered too flashy and really stick out for RP. Is the stormrage Druid raid armor considered too much or people wouldn't take me seriously because it has antlers so it would consider me a very power Druid lore wise because of the antlers and the fact that it was malferion's so would that be a problem dealing with other players wearing the set?

Malfurion wasn't born with antlera, they grew during his training, and Illidan never ever had them, he did have amber eyes though.

So let me see if I got this right, balance druids are not so advanced druids who focused more on the power of the moon and sun (so rping a balance troll/ worgen might be a bit odd?), shapeshifters (feral and guardian) are a bit more advanced druids who focus more on combining their spirit with the animal and eventually sharing their bodies for a time. And resto is more focused on healing the nature and whatever might belong to it, calling the powers of the nature to aid the wounded and cure the ill. Which would be a combination between a novice druid and an advanced one I guess. But once again, not really seeing the nature in worgens. So no balance and no resto for them. But at the same time, as you said, shapeshifting is hard and they're kinda new to it. Damn those furry things. Think I'm missing something though, /sigh... Yelp.

It's a bit weird for them, but as I said the night elves are considered to be mentoring them, so they could be close to them.

The worgen have a strong connection to Goldrinn, which helps them to shapeshift (or at least it would if they turned into wolves intead of cats and bears). Also, i think the druid magics they practised before were more like restoration, because, you know, they are """healing""" the crops. Also, something not related to worgen: balance druids shapeshift into moonkins, remember?

I main a Balance Night Elf Druid, However I can see a Worgen Druid as a formal farmer learning basic weather/ star coordination-like magic becoming accustomed to using Moonfire/Sunfire etc.

Derotiss You are wrong. While shape shifting is the most difficult thing for a druid to do, that does not make a Druid who wishes to focus his or her abilities on Restoration or Balace "novice druids".

Well Balance druids originally used more nature magic... Like Entangling Roots Thorns Nature's Grasp Insect Swarm Omen of Clarity Wrath... and am talking about the old Wrath that was green color... And they only used the arcane magic of the moon and stars which made sense specially for night elves....

It's a gray area sort of. But it's considered that they can use powers of the moon because Cenarius taught the druids and he is the son of Elune, or as they refer to her: "Moon Goddess"
