Most of us can't really visualize what Hyakkimaru is hearing when he got his ears, so just imagine that those ears are new born meaning they have ZERO DIRT OR GERMS so they're so clean, it seems like you have large speakers right beside your ears

Even though it's not perfect, I like that hyakkimaru's progress in exploring his human body felt somewhat natural. He was curious and very flawed in basic things (like a toddler) and you could clearly see him grow over time. It's nice that that's not overlooked, as I often dislike how people instantly learn things for the sake of the plot in other series.
