Dorothy, AB Ghost Town Walking Tour

Join me as I explore the ghost town of Dorothy, AB in Alberta not too far from Drumheller. My first visit here was in 2003 and I show a couple before and after shots. #abandoned #ghosttown

Hi Chris, Dorothy looks like an amazing visit and very photogenic in every aspect day or night, I wish we had places like this in the u. k but unfortunately they would be destroyed and removed for new housing developments or destroyed by youths..... Sighn of the times in my country and such a shame. Great Viideo and many thanks for showing us around this fantastic open space.... 😊❤

WInter had ended 1 week earlier when I was there

I was travelling from BC to Saskatoon to visit relatives, and had planned to take #1 through Regina - but Google maps promised me a faster route, and I didn't pull over to inspect it. Next thing you know I am travelling down gravel roads in +32 degree heat in a 10 year old car. No cell service. Was getting pretty freaked out as I didn't expect to be in the middle of nowhere in that heat. Suddenly the route takes me down this winding gravel road that is cutting into a butte ( I can see it in your video! haha) , I thought for sure it was some old washed out mining road. Then it took me over this rickety looking old 1 lane bridge! It was insane - finally someone was coming the other way, but they said Google maps led them down this crazy route as well! Anyhow, shortly after the rickety bridge I saw Dorothy and that was the first time I felt somewhat ok - like civilization wasn't too far away.
