I didn’t worry about Bakugo turning at this point because of his Origin episode. The Origin episodes appear to be the points where the named hero was cemented on the path of hero. During Bakugo’s Origin episode, he said he’d rather give up being a hero if he had to work with Midoriya and Midoriya, who would never dare raise a finger to Bakugo, punched him in the face and exclaimed, you are you because you never give up. In my opinion, this was the only chance of Bakugo turning being eliminated.

Also if you go way back to season 1 episode 7 I think. The part after deku beats bakugo for the first time in the hero vs villains exam, bakugo tells deku right after deku tell him his secret, bakugo says that even if he lost, he isn't done yet and that he is just getting started. That was the moment for most of us realizing that bakugo isn't your typical school bully. It showed a taste to what bakugo's true feelings are. If you rewatch my hero, you'll see that they've been hinting bakugo's true intentions and motivation since season 1. Thats why when most bakugo fans reached this episode, they believed invluding myself that bakugo was never going to convert into a villain because we got the idea of bakugo's real intentions early on when most people where still hating him for just being a typical bully to our protagonist. This is the reason why bakugo was so misunderstood as a character early on. Not many people took notice of his pation and potential. They where just blinded by hate.

The main reason you see a lot of parallels between Bakugo and Anakin Skywalker is that the writer is a huge Star Wars fans. All-Might Trained Midoria on Dagobah Beach much like Yoda trained Luke on the Planet Dagobah. We Met Midorya outside of Tatooine Station way back in Episode 1. and even more that are fairly subtle and easy to miss, but they are mostly found in names of places.

At first I was like: Another Hero (Shounen Jump) Show? Nah, there´ll be at least hundreds of episodes, hundreds of filler episodes. I was already tired of all of the Marvel Movies, so I didn´t pay much attention to the show. This spring I was like: Ok, why not giving it a shot and see, whats all the hype is about. I binged all of the 88 episodes in one row (and a second and third time) because I am absolutely hooked to the show. Not that, like 98% of the characters have actual a good, almost full flegded character, there´re minimal filler episodes and the fights are limited to max two episodes (in contrast to Dragonball, One Piece or YuGiOh!).

my theory for the traitor is either Aizawa or the principle. theres a theme amongst the villains that they dont like hero society as it is since its fake. when Aizawa was introduced they said he didnt really like celebrity heros so that agenda would fit thematically if he turned out to be the traitor. Or its the principle cos during the exam recovery girl said that he was experimented on by humans so maybe revenge on society for that? i dunno just theories

Bakugo’s “stay back” was originally “Don’t come Deku” in the subbed version. It might be a little bit abt caring for him but the majority was him not wanting to be rescued by Deku because that would hurt his pride and be even worse than getting kidnapped. It’s like a more serious version of when Bakugo fell as a kid and got mad at Deku for trying to help him up
