@user-lb9xw4xf2q9 күн бұрын
@@VideoSmarts1 Yeah, but I doubt Matt and Trey were on usenet. The earliest I can remember the phrase being used online was 2005; so the phrase may predate the episode, but it seems unlikely that was the intended joke because butt-hurt is applied to when someone is completely overreacting, whereas Kyle was perfectly valid in his disillusionment in God and distress.

9:33 This episode is so great, when I was a teen my mom was an executive at a big amusement park they needed attendance of at least 25K a day, just to break even. That included admission and each person spending at least $100 on food, games and mementos. So the instant Cartman bought the park I knew exactly what was coming and still was rolling on the floor laughing, when I first saw it when it first aired.
@Varanus22210 күн бұрын
Fun amusement park story. One day, myself, my friend, his GF, and his sister went to Six Flags. This was maybe nearing 20 years ago. We got there before it opened, and stayed until closing. Now it was raining on and off all day, with occasional thunderstorms. This may have deterred people from coming. As, for the entire day, including us, there were about 10 people max, in the park. For most of the day, we didnt even see any of the other people. The only time the rides were closed, was when thunderstorm actually came through. So we pretty much had the entirety of Six Flags to ourselves, for the whole day.

Kyle’s parents thinking that the Book of Job (one of the most depressing stories in the Bible) would help revive Kyle’s faith in God is hilarious Edit: Didn’t mean to start a big religious debate or anything. Just thought that out of all the biblical stories Kyle’s parents could’ve told their son to help him during his crisis of faith, they could’ve picked a better one than the Book of Job or at least told the story better

Kinda wish you saw ‘Merry Christmas Charlie Manson’ before this one, just for the Cartman grandma introduction but it’s not mandatory. Cartman wanting a million dollars was a plot for a couple of episodes including when he puts together a boyband, a christian rock band and also starting a religion for children seperate from the catholic church. I think the episodes are ‘fingerbang’ ‘faith plus one’ and ‘red hot catholic love parts 1&2’ respectively.

inheritance tax is still super easy to get around; put that money in a trust in the name of the person you want to leave it to. then it technically doesnt belong to the person whose leaving it behind and is subject to no tax. in terms of property transfer ownership/ sell it to to the person you want to leave it to before death for like a dollar (person selling the home is 100% allowed to dictate the selling price for their house and they could even be doing you a favour when it comes to property tax by giving it to you for super low) that way its your house and not inherited property when they pass.
