Spoilers*Kinda* I think the person that Vesemir beheaded at the end... he thought was tetra, was the one that could make more witchers.

Geralt was Bald because he had a natural resistance to the mutagens given to make him a witcher so the alchemists gave him extra more experimental mutagens which made his hair fall out and grow back white (and also probably making him stronger than the average witcher)

Actually, I’m pretty sure it was mentioned in the books that his hair turned white during the Trial of Grasses. There definitely was a reference to this in the first game, Eskel mentioned it. I think they just took a liberty and made Geralt bald for the sake of surprise. Minor detail, can be forgiven 🙂

​@@mc_rysiek5277 Actually I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the books. The fact is, we don't know if Geralt had white hair before the mutation or if the mutation caused his hair to change color. This is probably why the production decided on a bald Geralt at a young age.

Imagine what Vesemir went through, then times that by like fifty, that’s how much worse Geralt was put through. His body put through so much strain that all of his hair including eyebrows fall off. When it grows back it will grow back white.

Vesemir is a HUGE character in season two! He's in the road to season 2 trailer at 1:00 exactly saying to Geralt "you're home. finally." , then at 1:12 - "its hard to do when I don't know who I'm protecting". Then you get an amazing shot of his face at 1:15 and he says "Or what I'm protecting her from..." 😍 And that's not the trailer that just came out yesterday, its the "Road to season 2" trailer that dropped on September 25th.

I still don’t understand Tetra’s genocidal point of view towards all witchers besides it being just revenge and her whole superiority complex of being towards witchers is very very strange to me Kinda spoiler for the books below Mages are no where in any kinda higher light i mean you have Cosimo Malaspina, Alzur and Idarran of Ulivo who created and hybridized many many monsters and not only that Cosimo and Alzur and the ones who created the mutations to create Witcher Which is why i never got Tetra’s way of thinking besides way over the top revenge

The plot of this anime indeed reminds me more of the subplot of the Season of Storms prequel novel where the mages were responsible for breeding new kinds of monstrosities and one mage Sorel Degerlund was using them to spread mayhem. Even in the short stories Geralt mentions: "'I've seen people with eagles' talons instead of hands, people with a wolf's fangs. People with additional joints, additional organs and additional senses. All of which were the effects of your messing about with magic' 'You've seen all sorts of mutations, you say.' The magician raised his head. 'And how many of them have you slaughtered for money, in keeping with your witcher's calling? Well? Because one can have a wolf's fangs and go no further than baring them at the trollops in taverns, or one can have a wolf's nature, too, and attack children." Witcher, The Last Wish, story The Lesser Evil

Tetra wanted revenge for what happened to her. In her head all witchers are bad and if the leader of the witchers wasn't creating these monsters who are killing innocent people for his selfish reasons she wouldn't have felt the need to do what she does in the end. Note: all the monsters that attacked the witchers were not created by tetra but by the Wizards and the leader of the witchers so tell me whose the real villain here?

@@shortznig2938 again thats the main motivation of tetra because there was one shitty Witcher the one who killed her mom and Deglan cause mass genocide what about all the good Witchers? All the young kids? And its not like the Deglan was doing it because it was fun or because of coin he did it to sustain the survival of the witcher school and all his “kids” What Tetra is doing is called “Scapegoating” Miscommunication, misconception and scapegoating thats the villain of the movie plus Tetra destroying kitsu’s home and saying it was the witchers Wasn’t a “nice” thing either also getting a bunch of normal people involved and getting them killed also wasn’t a “good” option

Declan literally proved her suspicions right by what he did which most likely fueled her already simmering anger for the witchers.

This origin anime version of the movie was spin off of The Witcher tv show. Story tells geralt was a boy before he grew up and in the tv show geralt told about what happened in this movie

This movie is an interesting contribution to the world of The Witcher. but I would put it this way: First the book series. Second, video games. Third this animated movie. and the last and almost failing, the Netflix series.

@@ximienlundquist8487 why you call this person miserable? Because they know and love original source and they can see the differences and downsides of adaptations? Strange logic. People read, love, roleplay, make ballads and musicals of Witcher for decades. It's a well-written universe with cult following in many countries of Eastern Europe. And Netflix series is just a recent shallow adaptation that rewrited and degraded in most humiliating way half of the characters, simplified many things and made them illogical and silly. So it seems IMHO far more justified to call fans of the series "miserable", and yet we don't walk around and randomly offend strangers in comments like that.
