@SteffenCzolbe2 жыл бұрын
I think even this video went way too big on scale. Like that iron, copper, and GC production at the end. 1/6th of that would be enough to finish SE. Sure, once you get into space a normal starter bus base no longer cuts it, but you really don't need that much more either. My last SE playthrough was in version 0.4, and I noticed that raw resource consumption starts to decrease significantly once you get half way through the space sciences, as you unlock more efficient recipes and prod modules.

Hey thanks for playing SE (And showcasing one of my mods)! It seems you missed the "Any landing pad with name" option for cargo rockets. Instead of one rocket that goes to "Nauvis Vulcanite Pad" and another rocket that goes to "Taras Vulcanite Pad" (like at 1:12:15), you can name your pads something like "Vulcanite blocks delivery" and then have a single rocket that goes to "Any landing pad with name Vulcanite blocks delivery". In the future if you get another source of vulcanite, you can even have a second rocket targeting the same names. Rockets are smart and will only automatically launch to empty pads, one at a time. This lets you have N-to-N delivery networks, very similar to how trains works. Cheers!

1:09:39 pro tip, Spidertrons are an excellent way to semi-automate some extremely long-distance combat. especially with the Spidertron Extended mod and optionally Spidertron Squad Control mod. without the control mod, have a group of Spidertrons, they're all following each other, and the leader is queued to run around the biter nest. have one or two fully kitted out with bots and repair packs and the rest are combat, such as with lasers. they all need to be pretty fast with a lot of exoskeletons. they can cover huge distances and clear out a ton of biters very quickly and you can have multiple groups clearing out multiple areas at once.

The most recent hurdle was finding out that the ratio of sand to concrete assemblers is 1:4. Don’t even get me started on how complicated it is just to make yellow inserters. It doesn’t help that my first probably fifteen hours was spent shotgunning cliff explosives to make room to even _build_ a proper bus that wasn’t running directly through the nearest ore patch.

After all this time you're still not done? Wow, that's insane! I started a SpaceX run once, but quit after the first rocket. Looked like too much effort to start a new planet. After watching this, I'm kinda glad I did... Looking forward to part 2!

Amazing video, more of this series please!! Helps me regain a bit of sanity after playing this mod pack and realizing that I'm not taking forever to do anything lol LOVE the cowboy bebop reference at the end!

I use dosh factorio runs to get me to sleep... Sleep learning exists. Im a way better masochist and am happy watching paint dry most days now. Thanks dosh.

I'm playing this mod right now and it's so nice to see someone play this mod so I can understand what I'm supposed to do

this video brings joy to my heart i like to imagen that a playthrough with my friends would look like this, if my friends would play factorio, or even if i would have any friends the inserters are my friends...

It's incredible what Factorio modders have done with the game. 😁

I've never even played factorio and can understand just about every tenth word being spoken, but I haven't been able to stop watching this.

Bro ... I love watching you. Makes me feel really stupid when I watch you casually programming a computer in factorio ... keep up the awesome work. I love watching you build this complicated things.

SpaceEx, for a mod that promise space exploration, the burner stage are so freaking long it burn (no pun intended) me out before I reach the meat of the game... Automated cargo rocket and get utility/production running kill me so dead inside...

I literally thought you'd been making factorio videos for years because the quality is so high, I love being able to watch one playthrough in one longer video and I really appreciate the effort it takes you to produce content like this.

Always happy to see a new video from you. Cant wait to first watch this once, then have it keep me company while i fall asleep for the next month. Edit: its good at keeping me company while I sleep

I love you bro seriously i have wanted a factorio series like this for so long but no one ever made it. You saw the opportunity and decided to put the work in yourself, i hope the fruits of your labor are bountiful

Thanks for giving me the feeling of playing through Factorio and Factorio Mods. Without actually learning and finishing Factorio runs. Your stuff is fun to watch.

It doesn't do you any good now, but that satellite view that lets you look around, you don't need to be on the planet for that. You can scan a whole area, see what's there, then delete the map to save performance. The layout doesn't change when you delete it. At least that was all true the last time I played it before the latest update.

That feeling when you're subbed to like 50 gaming and variety youtube channels and they've all dropped productivity to like 3 total new videos per day, across my entire sub feed... AND, you browse "Home" in desperation of anything good to watch that isnt just clickbait nonsense or vloggers reacting to other peoples content. And you find this gem, look at the video length, look at the game and mod in question, and just lean back in your chair with a hot cup of tea at 11pm. Thank you.

I remember I was up in my room bored scrolling on tiktok because I had finished my finals and suddenly my FYP was filled with videos of meet the grahams it was wild even for someone like me who has only recently started to listen to more hip hop and rap like it truly is such an exceptional moment to look back on.

Fun fact, you don't need to build walls if you drive the biters to extinction on the planet/moon. Unless it has the biter meteorites modifier, that is.

Playing this multiplayer and having someone stay grounded as you go into space is worth more than a thousand arcospheres. By the way, have you figured out the pyramid puzzle yet? There's no info on that anywhere. That thing intrigues me the most.

@@salce_with_onion Are you saying we need James Spader to solve this? Now being serious, yeah, I get the vibe of a portal opening at the end of the puzzle. That would be awesome!!
