Hindi ako pumasa Sa DoSt scholarship noon so Hindi ako natuloy Sa UP kasi walang enough na pera parents ko nun pang allowance sa Manila. So instead lumuwas ng Manila, I decided to study at our city college, which was an hour away from our house on foot. Dun kasi libre tuition or minimal tuition dati at 500 pesos per sem and pwede Kong lakarin from house everyday. But destiny was so good at me. In my second year at college, I learned about the Japanese government scholarship. Nag apply ako and I took the exam in Cebu city. I remember na sinangla pa ng nanay ko Ang TV namin para makapunta at makakuha ako ng exam Sa Cebu. Luckily, I was one of the two Filipinos who got the scholarship for undergrad that year. So I ended up studying engineering at the University of Tokyo.

proud dost scholar here doc dalvie. my first choice is actually accountancy. when the exam result came out, i passed the bs course. i need to change my initial course choice to avail the scholarship. sayang din kasi sabi ng parents ko. sila na nagdecide kung ano kukunin ko.so bilang ulirang anak haha i ended up taking ece. the scholarship definitely helped me in all aspects during my college life. sipagan lang talaga mag aral. may allowance ka na plus subsidized pa ang tf and the maintaining grade hindi ganun kataas. thank God i graduated on time and passed the licensure examination. im currently working now aligned with my profession.

Yes po. BS Medtech is one of the priority courses. However, pili lang po yung schools nila na accredited ng DOST. You could ask the school po if they are accepting DOST scholars in their program.

Sa last part po nung registration, may selection between MERIT and RA 7687. However, hindi ko po ma select yung MERIT so RA 7687 nalang ho pinili ko. Ngayon nirequire ako ng Mother's Certificate of Indigency. For the record, my father is a teacher (gross income: 25K), mother is unemployed. They denied na indigent kami. But I kept pushing to atleast try magpa evaluate sa barangay coz DOST na mismo nagtailor nag requirements customized for each applicant and it can't be their mistake. What should I do po? I already tried asking other people's take with this and even addressed this to DOST. I really feel so hopeless and lost right now😭😭😭

Hi po doc? I'm a criminology grad. Po but since when I was kid I really dream to be a doctor. Kaso nga lang Po kapos sa budget. Now, I'm planning to take pharmacy as my pre-med course at Iloilo city. Sana Po maka pasa ako.🙏🙏🙏😇

Hello po Doc Dalvie. Ask ko lang po, DOST passer po ako pero wala po sa program yung kukunin Kong course pero related Science po iyon. Sa UST po kasi ako LEAPMED po. BS BASIC HUMAN BIOLOGY PO kukunin ko. Ask ko lang po kung pwede po ba ma consider yun?

Pag nawala po ba yung scholarship mo babayaran mo ba yung mga binayad nila? Saka makakuha kaba ng scholarship kung hindi masyado mataas yung grade mo?
