50 some years ago, my high school art teacher taught me the look ahead method. I have found through out the years that works for all kinds of things including quilting. Cutting a straight edge between a ceiling and a wall with paint, tracing, sewing the correct width seam, etc. It's a very useful idea. Also, if something doesn't look balanced and you can't quite figure out what it might be that is off, look at it upside down and you will see where you need to make the correction right away. Pay it forward I was always taught. Thanks for sharing.

I learn so much from Angela. If I could be a full time student of hers I can’t tell you how happy I’d be.

This is a wonderful series. I have learned so much, and that's coming from an experience ruler quilter! I now have many new ideas and designs to draw from. Angela's expanded diagram and tips sheets are the icing on the cake. Many thanks for a great experience.

I've had so much fun with this, I've ordered multiple panels. It's a great way to practice on my new longarm.

I am thoroughly enjoying these videos, BUT I struggle from week to week keeping designs fresh in my head. SO, I am waiting to finish weeks 3-6 until all videos are posted. That way I can spend a weekend and really focus. Thanks Angela for the lessons and for encouraging us in finding what works best for us as individuals and then pushing us to go for it!!! This has been amazing!

Loved the Dot to Dot lessons. I tell all my quilting friends. You are an inspiration and teach us to love our own quilting, being kind to ourselves through our quilting journey. Imperfectly perfect.

I find adjusting my ironing board to sewing table height, then placing the board beside me and using it to support the quilt on my left, it helps.

Love it! My machine and I are having a bit of a disagreement right now with FMQing so I'm a bit behind. But I love watching the videos and the Q&A sessions. Thanks Angela!

This has been a wonderful experienced. I purchased the large panel with the borders, I thought you were going to show us how to quilt the borders. If not, that is ok, I will do my own thing. LOL

Wow, your top stitch quilting is amazing. I don't have enough courage in me to attempt that. I guess just take some practice blocks and just do.

I'm trying to learn to quilt with rulers on my Juki TL-2000. Even though I put Handi grips on them, it keeps slipping. What can I do differently ?

Went to the information link to print and download the week 5 printouts. All the downloads, except week 3 say there is a virus detected as refuses to download them.
