Next to the Modules the Type, Beam, Beam Angle and Beam Intensity should be entered. By default, the type and the beam are set to None. For further explanation see: help2.malighting.com/Page/Utilities/Fixture_Type_Information/en/1.3

How to make a Multi-instance fixture?

Hi, a multi instance Fixture means, that this fixture uses the same order of Attributes, several times. For example, a LED stick, using four times RGBW In this case, it makes sense to build a module for the repeating block of DMX channels (RGBW). Instance means now, how often this Module is used in your fixture type. Easier might be, to import a fixturetype that is structured similar to the one, you want to build And edit this fixture type until it works for you. By doing so, you can see how a working multi instance fixture type is structured anhd you don´t have to start with zero entries. Alternatively, you can also use the grandMA2 onPC software, to build your fixture type. Maybe that´s easier, as you can swap faster between an already patched multi instance fixture and your “building sight” of the one, you want to edit.

Hi Dylan, sorry to say, but there´s no Fixture builder for gMA Series 1. To build fixtures for them, you have to use the gMA 1 onPC software or the console itself. In Setup/ Fixture Types/ fixture Types new, you can build you´re own Fixtures. Alternatively, you can also have a look at the archive in the “old” Fixture share, maybe you desired Fixture has been created by someone else in the past: www.ma-share.net/ Cheers, Qincy
