He is pretty fragile in the early game plus his movement speed and attack damage on level 1 is very low making him very hard to use. He can use his full power's potential if he has a very high level.

Changes to Invoker have been made since this video was released. This list will contain those changes (not including number changes, since they are very frequent) Quas, Wex and Exort: No longer give passive Strength, Agility or Intelligence. Invoke: Can no longer be leveled. It always has a 6 second cooldown (2 seconds with aghs) and costs no mana. Aghanim's Scepter: As well as decreasing the cooldown, it will also increase the level of all of invoker's orbs by 1, essentially making the max level of them 8. Note that if you have not leveled up an orb it will not be upgraded. Remember to like this comment if it helped you, and feel free to ask me any question.

back before voker was re-introduced, voker apparently had 27 different spells and the spell was based on the order of quas wex and exort. the downside was that he had no attack command. 10 of those spells were recycled into modern invoker.

I love LoL but seriously after having played invoker my blow invoker is simply in a complete different leauge then ANY ap champ from LoL. So complex and hard to master. I love this guy so much. One of the things i love the most is at a ceartin point in the late game is that invoker always have somthing to do, I don't need to stand around and wait for like 140 secs for my ulti to go of cd before I can go into battle again.Constant action with this guy very fun play. I give him 11,5 out of 10

If you are talking about EMP, usually the radius of it is hard to discern especially if you've never played Invoker because it is so immense. That is probably why they didn't avoid it. Also, the casting animation for pretty much all of Invoker's skills look the same, so you'll never know what he's casting until it's usually too late!

Chill That was kind-of the joke... A lot of the Dota 2 characters still look a lot like their original Blizzard (DotA) counterparts. They're just not officially allowed to have the actual characters with the same names, which is why most of them are renamed. Crystal Maiden still looks similar to Jaina. Anti-Mage still has those twin blades that Illidan has. Drow Ranger still looks a hell of a lot like Sylvanas. You get the point. It's the reason Windrunner had to be renamed to Windranger. Since Blizzard could have have sued them due to similarities with the 'Windrunner' sisters in WoW.

Invoker ain't that hard after you get used to him, and memorized all his spells and combos, and fast fingers too. For new Invokers, this is the list of combos I used on battle: -ColdSnap, ForgeSpirit, Icewall,Sunstrike -Tornado, EMP (depletes enemies' mana) -Tornado,ChaosMeteor, DeafeningBlast -ForgeSpirit,Alacrity -GhostWalk + Radiance [GG]

Just looked it up, the cooldown is 30 so that's not possible. By the way, one important point that is not mentioned in the video, the damage of sunstrike is spread evenly between targets in the area of effect so you won't be able to blast away creep waves or bombard teamfights with this thing.

RTS stands for Real Time Strategy, good example of it are Warcraft 3, AoE series, Starcraft, Red Alerts, Tiberian Sun, Generals (or any other C&C), Settlers and all that. DotA, HoN, and LoL are grouped as MOBA, a sub-genre to RTS where it focus more on the action aspect of the RTS rather than base building and micromanaging resource gathering. Usually you control one "hero" unit though depending on certain hero you get to control some unit as well like Lychan or Enigma from DotA.

He usually is played as a Teamfight Controller. His spells have HUGE AOE, and damage, as well as just general control. Tornado takes enemies out of the fight, Deafening Blast just disrupts the fight in general, emp either drains everyone's mana or causes them to flee, Chaos Meteor rolls through for tons of damage, and Cold Snap is a HUGE pain to deal with. That being said, he does have reasonable right clicks, but shouldn't be exclusively built around them (similar to Queen of Pain)

If support you go for quas wex build with 1 early point in exort. Your main spells should be, coldsnap,deaf blast, ice wall, emp, tornado, and alacrity. You get mana boots and force staff as core.

I can't be the only one who noticed that the names of his Quas, Wex and Exort share the begining letter to their skill slot: Quas-Q Wex-W Exort-E

using the skills in chain, in the correct order and while under pressure plus probably other things such as positioning of you, your team and the enemies... so yeah quite high, meepo on the other hand just need to position well, the ensnare thingy+poof deals high almost instant damage for just a couple of clicks and you can last hit easier with 2 heroes and you can send your copies to jungle farm, body-block or the more difficult split push by yourself(the only high ceiling skill)
