Playing the matchup is important but if the viper just grinded his LHs he would see a huge improvement

The best approach to mid player in lower bracket is use the Sumail approach. Get Regen items more than your enemy mid lane, harass the duck out of it even at the cost of losing a lot of cs, if you're lucky you might get kills early but what your harassing accomplish is making lanibg in early stage very hard for your enemy so much so that either they have to buy more Regen wasting time, cs, and gold all the while because of your advantage in Regen from starting gold you will be able to sustain in lane and thus get cs and exp, out farming and leveling your opponent, depending on your match-up your enemy midlaner might have to jungle as early as lvl3 or risk getting killed over and over again. However, it's a very difficult and mechanical intense approach but one that will yield great results if you practice hard enough, Storm was the get go for these type of plays and why he is so good in climbing mmr.

Hello jenkins I have a question:does my xpm and gmp affect my calibration or its based on my gameplay? I once played for my friend the 10'solo games he was like herald, in the 10 games I got 600+ gpm 700+ xpm but he still got herald and im legend 1 I need some explanation.

It factors in your last mmr as well. So if you start at 2000 mmr and try to calibrate for a new season, you are restricted to a finite amount of potential mmr. I believe at most you can go up like 500 mmr if you win all games or something like that. And yes, your gameplay does impact the amount of mmr as well.

I have a question, so im 4k and I play mid and usually do very well and even gank other lanes succesfuly, but it seems as the game goes on the enemy team throws all spells on me and win, because my Carry can't do anything and I end up loosing late game. What is the best thing i can do when I have a feeder Carry or underfarmed?

@@jarel17-13 im currently 5.6k mmr.. i do hv smurf id in 2k now it is 4.4k...i play midlane only in smurf... something that i love to do is just pressure the midlane and force enemy to come to your lane...and try not to die...for an example...i play huskar and i get armlet fast like 6-7min and i just right click as much as i can at enemy tower...i always see map ...any one enemy missing from sidelanes ...i just dgaf and dont dive..i keep pressure...if u do this eventually your carry will become fat and they will do a pretty good help. after take your mid tier 1 ...always think where you should go...u can pressure their 2nd tier for twice but make sure check map...make them leave their sidelanes...when they leave.. u just go back...i do this and win all games..and i always laugh when they tp or come mid liek 4 man and no get kill shit...try not to die mid...sometimes they can take your tier1. try not to lose tier 1..

sometimes taking tier 1 at sidelanes can be bad so just think what type of carry u have...if he hard carry just create space and dont die...have a good farming consistently and pressure enemy will give u an ez win as a midlaner..i think thts all i have to say

After seeing how viper plays I’m beginning to feel like shit about my rank. I know I’m a lot better than the people in my rank since I’m able to point out many or their mistakes and I usually do winlanes. But no matter what I do I cannot carry my games when the enemy mid becomes so farmed in almost all my games. Maybe make a video on how to counter strong enemy mids? Thanks.

Same problem. Im convinced it's harder to gain MMR the lower bracket you are due to shitty teammates. I win my Lane Everytime but what can it do when 2 other lanes feed and suck ass. MMR calibrations need to b rethought u should b able to gain MMR when u lose a match too but as it is now is a really fustrating cycle

Need help. At the 3k bracket mmr part, it seems pretty descent and i kinda played the way you would expect a average player would play like. For example, understanding enemy hero's abilities, constant change of camera movement and last hits. Last year i came back to dota and got my new rank which is herald 5. And then i went on and played ranked and lost alot. Now im stuck in 25-200 mmr. I sometimes think that my team is the problem and no one wants to pick supports and if i pick supports i need to hope the carry and the rest of the team plays well. Because when i play with 9 friends which are around 2k-3k at 5v5, i seem to do pretty well. So what do i need to do? And how to get higher?

Try getting closer and pre calculating yr attacks by basically learning how yr hero attacks

Play with creep aggro, hit your opponent when he is lurking for denies/lasthits, rightclick a creep and cancel the attack (set key in option) to align to the creep so you dont have to calculate turnrate, fake attacks by canceling attack.

@@QuitRage When someone has to much base dmg i.e exort invoker, i use mind games, when a creep is like 2hits from being killed i attack the creep next to it and he tries to deny the creep. And when he gets used to it u fake like you hit the creep for real and this time he wont deny because he thinks you are baiting him. Mind games is very strong in dota

Sometimes it's literally impossible to get the last hit, but instead of trying, you could go for harass. Eventually that adds up to give you space. A common practice is also to secure the ranged creep with nukes and to use creep aggro to secure lasthits on melee creeps.

How to abuse lane mechanics on lower mmr bracket? I am crusader playee, when I play mid i always tend to play passive no matter how noob the opponents is. When my Legend friend try to play my account he crushed mid so hard every single time. I hope you read this comment need to improve

Attack the enemy "as often as possible". Use courier often to send out regen/stats improving items. When your lane pushes into enemy tower keep attacking but keep in mind that the tower will aggro on you if u get within 500 yards.

Try to pull the creeps when the creeps are in the low ground....and try to trade with the enemy if they are in the lowground cause they can miss their right click

lane mechanics are like basic things you can do in lane.. being passive or aggressive depends on your playstyle and what you are up against.. if you and your legend friend got the same hero used against the same enemy hero, i guess he knows the hero better than you do to push the hero to its limits.. check out what he does that you do not do, dont just let him play your account and win with it..

Just want to give some editing advice, don't give all your shoutouts at the start of the video, do them at the end, the start of the video is where you want to hook your viewers into watching more. Sumiya's Dota videos are a good example of really well done editing that keeps the viewer constantly hooked.

im 2.5k mmr and i am able to handle mid with my ancient friends. Archon is a pithole. 80% of the players have no idea about how the game works. They pick hard carries and go afk farm for the whole game or pick supports and then go carry

ancient player's mmr got so low it is now within the archon bracket.. medals displayed are always equal to the peak mmr you've got for the season.. but if you lost so much, medals do not rank down..

Matthew Ming im a divine 5 player and i can say that even some legend players can cs like immortal players and divine players.. The Cs skillgap and spell usage between ancients and immortals are not too far in my opinion.. what makes legend and ancient players look weak in my opinion is that they have no idea what they have to do to win the lane and game.. (in worst case scenario, they dont know how to recover when their lane got crushed , dont know how to spilt push instead of joining a battle with 0% chance winning and finally getting themselves wipe out) sry for my badenglish :3

Its all about consistency and this is why the dota 2 community is so CANCEROUS people think they are better with someone higher ranking than them because of a single game they play. I'm a 5k mmr and I must say i have games where i carry my allies better than RTZ but the thing is COULD I DO THAT SHIT ALL GAME? OFCOURSE NOT! I am fucking crusader 1 and I play a lot better than this viper, and im not primary midlaner. You said that the boy is familiar with the hero - wtf? He doesn't even know his laning stage base dmg and attack speed. Even while he is free farming, he misses pretty much all fucking last hits. Why he plays ranked match on hero can't play. He doesnt move his camera. It happens that you fuck up the creep block, but he doesnt even do creep aggro. I usually spam meta heroes (slark 600 gpm+, am 800gpm+. I have around 10 hero poll i can play WELL. Ialso counterpick the enemy team as much as I can. I am playing safelane carry almost always, Im trying to get better. I learn from my mistakes. I want to fucking get out of crusader one. Im trying to find friends to play with, because randoms suck dick, but everyone play LoL. The second mid game in this vid is not good - in crusader i see better ones. I WANA FUCKKNG GLOBAL RANK RESET, TO GET OUT OF FUCKING NOOBS
