I remember the dota 1 days that i go mid with my life stealer as a core.. we always kill sf, invo, arc etc. Heroes that doesnt have escape abilities.. First ill cold feet then naix will use open wounds and then ill 3rd use then naix will use rage to negate the minus slow attack speed but the added damage is still there and the enemy mid lane will always frost and die .. ❤

i think tinker "blink damage cooldown not refreshable" and "interrupting rearm putting it into cooldown" is just so good nerfs with those up I m okay with any spell they put to tinker. because back then tinker is able to blink away from 0.1 sec inerval damage over time with just rearming. and there is nothing you could do about it. either kill him in stunlock which requires a lot of resources and since he can rocket miles away which was really hard to do. i wouldn't mind if they bring back march even as an extra spell for tinker as long as damage values are balanced. because now you can actually do something to fight tinker.

I'm sorry I just completely disagree, their kit was certainly unique but was just either stupidly oppressive or near useless. Every part of their moveset was mines or killing themselves, and the mines would either be impossible to manage (When proximity did full damage at all ranges) or completely useless when you could just touch the edge of proximity mines and receive next to no damage. They needed versatility so they wouldn't just be a nightmare to balance, because the Free Wards you talk about would entirely nullify techies and turn them into a walking ranged creep. Changing their kit let them actually make proximity mines strong again without techies becoming a problem, you can still mine it up, cause they do a shit ton of damage and have a low cd and let you hold 3 charges.
