One of the best dota2 content I have ever consumed. Man this is great work Cap and SVG. Get deep, get real. This is a good angle. Dota is such a rich complex game with such a long history that has its immense culture content potential. It's not just clowny stuff or nerdy stuff. The talk about each game has its own 'ideal player' and how dota has its own too is a very perceptive angle. Really impressed.

Guys I have something to confess. That Ame pause after Falcons called gg in game 4 made me feel ecstatic. Something i havent felt from a dota match for quite some time.

Haha, I love the dynamic guys, keep it going. Avery’s takes are refreshing. No filter and it’s great. Cap, good job at steering these discussions and thanks for bringing additional content to the community!

This podcast is so fucking good, the dynamic is amazing, big fan of both of you guys and the community needs this like leshrac needs mana. I have a specific question for you though Cap, I don't want to sound rude with this because I'm a huge fan of SVG, but I honestly think you enable SVG a lot and I don't think others would be able to tolerate him AND enable him as much as you do. So does he get on your nerve ALOT sometimes or are you just this super chill of a guy, or maybe just used to it? haha much love again!

Love the podcast as always. Also Falcons won only 2 tournaments not 3 in a row as SVG stated.

Gotta say I love trash talk, both in and outside the game. It really gets me going as a fan. I watch football (the global one) and it's a super important part of the game as both a competitor and spectator. You're supposed to make the atmosphere hostile to your opponent, to expose the cracks in their psyche.

On the topic of all chatting the other team: I myself used to easily tilt when people would BM me in pubs, but like SVG said it's because my mentality was weak. I've learned to embrace it because it makes the game more interesting, but I do think BM pausing is over the line unless the other team has also been engaging in all chat because it actively disrupts the flow of the game.

I was waiting for this to come out! Cap and Bone daddy bring the entertainment once again. Also, is the no-ingame sound of this episode a response to some of the last one's comments? If so props! I don't mind but I could see why some people didn't like it ❤

If anything pro play is the one place where trash talk can exist as a legitimate form of competition. Also it adds to the viewer and commercial experience as a spectator. The problem is when the rest of the community takes that sort of toxicity into pub play, and we create a community that isn't worth interacting with for the vile shit that people throw at one another.

Falcons decided to draft timbersaw every game in the finals and just bounced it back and forth between mid and offlane. They should have tried some of their other strats.
@pureevil60476 ай бұрын
About half way through game 2 XG just figured out Timbersaw as a hero completely and he did little the rest of the series. They drafted Timber vs OG and Whisper is a Timber master. Timber did nothing in that series either.
@mewtwo60926 ай бұрын
what if they have no strats , when u ban razor , dk , pango
@mrsquadbot6 ай бұрын
You don't 'try strats' in the middle of finals. The strat carried them from stage to finals, it's reasonable they sticked to it. Also Xtreme banned everything else like DK and Razor on top of being cautious to not get cheesed by a Huskar

I don't mind trash talk as long as I reserve the right not to shake their hand after the game. Somehow the former is considered okay but the latter is suddenly bad sportsmanship.

I like when the format is longer - I enjoy hearing your thoughts and ranting tangents so if you feel like you have more to discuss on a subject I would dislike you giving it less time because you are aiming for a specific length of videos. Maybe that is some metrics thing but if it is I would rather you do episodes more often with a narrower focus!

The level of hate for Falcons is higher because they were just too disrespectful to legends of the game and a team that are pretty big fan favorites across all regions. I don't think people hated that dominant LGD team or Team Spirit when they were destroying everyone.

I feel like pros in dota are over respected, worshipped like gods. These mf make some dumb ass mistakes or just follow cookie cutter builds because it's easier. They just click buttons better. Praise when it's deserved. But don't twist their blunders into a: "they are thinking on a other level", " he knows something we don't know (unironically) "
