I see you Austin, after years of being a fringe Dota personality, only really known as that water bottle guy, blitzdota's sidekick, glance value Ryan Reynolds, or the guy you get because ODPixel is busy going 5/10 in an ancient game, Tobiwan is still canceled, Sunsfan was arrested for looking like he built a tunnel under a synagogue and Ayesee was caught stealing valor from neckbeards, you've finally found your niche of being the JJ Reddick of Dota 2 Media. The only thing missing is you really need a blank piece of printer paper that a 3 year old vagualy drew a Dota Map on so we can really see exactly what youre breaking down. Side note Who would have guessed that the Lebron Equivalent in Dota was someone that played with Ritsu. All Irony aside Ive loved the increase in content youve this year. The podcast has been amazing, I like this idea alot and its always interesting getting more of a glimpse in the mind of the pro dota zeitgeist. My one suggestion is ironic as I made fun of JJ Reddick but i do think this type of video with crush with a 10 minuteish segment breaking down the "X's and O's" in dota. Like a longerform version of Purges Weatherman segments, like displaying a pivotal teamfight and how the top team in our a tournament is approaching it, and a similar moment for a team thats floundering and why their approach isnt leading to wins. Appreciate the stuff man, just tell Liquid to keep up the rough patch so we can get Blitz and Cap podcast back full time haha.

to be fair I liked the Swiss Stage a lot. It felt like every game was meaningful, and teams were power matched.

SVG talking shit is unreasonably fun what the hell. Lean into this more! Such a different tone than the clean cut broadcast analysis. Liking the gameplay and memes proving the point being talked about im liking this format. Definitely here for you guys to catch people up on what's happening in the scene performance and results wise, most tournaments are hard to keep up with from my timezone so this is useful.

Gotta disagree heavily with SVG's take - As a viewer I love that this event is that long. It's Elite LEAGUE for a reason. Swiss stage is good and we get a lot of matchups and see T2 potentially play vs. T1 teams and manage to do an upset. And after that, round robin is always fun to see all the possible matchups between those teams. Playoffs are just the icing on the cake. A lot of fun dota for a long time, I can't be mad at that

Decent talking points. I feel the opening could be shorter with more happenings. But i guess sometimes not much going on. And of course SVG would comment about a team doing well in groups and proceeding to bomb out
@GoodBrownBear5 ай бұрын
The format makes sense because it spends the most effort to decide who are the top eight instead of who is the top 3 from the top eight. For games swingy in nature this format is better.

I was rooting for tundra so hard and somehow I knew that even though they were doing well in groups, they would leave early after playoffs start…so frustrating. They make other teams so look so good in playoffs and like they can’t do anything

Great stuff, Cap. I've needed some kind of pro-dota-roundup since I don't have that much time to watch the games.. I think it may be better to mute the audio for the highlights. It's a bit distracting when listening in the background.
