This is beautiful.I love anything on a black backround.It looks like an Indian lacquered paper mache box.I don't enjoy painting regular lines because I'm not very good at it.But I guess I just need to practice.lol.When I was a teenager, my best friend a!nd I would speak with crazy British accents, very loudly, on buses and subways.We must have been annoying, but it was fun

I'm just in AWE of you... you so steady with your lines. I've tried to cut my brushes to get a fine liner, but it doesn't seem to flow as easily as yours. I tried the last one... Didn't turn out quite like yours. Don't know how to share the photo. Haven't gotten into resin yet. Have to watch some tutorials on drying on what... bed of nails.?? Love you.. Love listening.. love your laugh.. Your sooo talented....

Rachel just live these. I’m practising like crazy and am ok with my dots etc... but when it comes to the resin I ruin them.i have tried and tried nut I just can’t get it smooth and glassy looking. Anyway, I have found a way of saving my resined brushes...... I put hand soap on them and work it in really well and rinse. They are then reusable and soft. I have done this many times with the same brushes, so at least I don’t lose them, just my awful resined rocks. Sigh!!!!

Hi! Had to be gone for a while. I want to dot a mandala but not brave enough yet! edited: Rached I found a way to save my brushes after using them to brush on resin. I clean them with acetone. They clean up just like new again, soft and clean!

Rachel, what makes you choose a dauber instead of a the other sponge( forgot what it is called)?
@rachelsrockscanada4 жыл бұрын
With smaller areas I use a small blending brush, and for areas with more room I choose a sponge. It just looks more even and smooth using a sponge or brush. I have a blending brush Tutorial on my channel so you can make one and see what you think😁

When I do dot painting, my dots have little peaks. Why is this? And can I ignore it and resin anyway? E
@rachelsrockscanada2 жыл бұрын
It's okaybits juts the thickness of your paint causing that. You can definitely still resin over those colourful little peaks!! You can add a small amount of water( I use distilled water with paint) to thin your paint out a bit and you should have less peaks. But don't add too much or your dots will run. ❤❤
