As Traveler and Paimon proceed to go to the Adventurer's Guild to meet up with Nahida (Katheryne) and Setaria as planned, people began to crowd them with elated faces. It turns out that they believe you are a hero - a trick of the Akasha Terminal performed by Dottore, number 2 of the Fatui Harbingers which also marks his first appearance in game. While trying to free the people's minds, Dottore learns that Nahida is mind-controlling Katheryne and thus attacked her in a mind (psychic) battle all while Traveler and Paimon attempt to escape the commotion, leaving Nahida behind. This cutscene is part of the full Sumeru Archon Quest Chapter 3: Act 3 titled "Dreams, Emptiness, Deception" under the subquest "Like a Triumphant Hero".

The more i see of Nahida the more she's becoming one of my favorite archons. Venti is too passive Zhongli is just kind of over it, let humanity stand on their own though he does intervene here and there. Ei was too wrapped in her own sadness and basically abandoned the people to a puppet Nahida so far seems more actively involved, her personality is growing on me.

Well I'd say Zhongli lets humanity governs itself because the humans want to. (Right? I think I get that part right... Can't remember too clearly.) Zhongli still cares, and would step in if or before things get out of hands. He's more like a parent who doesn't hold a child's hands anymore because the child has grown up enough. Ei prefers to directly rule the nation herself, and yes Venti is too passive but still I don't think he'd let his nation rot if bad things happen.

Zhongli absolutely is like a dad that wants the kids to learn how to walk, that's a great description of him especially after the story quest where he saves Xiao. But at the same time I think there's areas where he could/should have stepped in more. Though I get it, it falls in his character it's just a part of his character I don't like. Ei grew on me a lot after her second story quest. She was my favorite archon at that point. She just loses a few points for knowingly subjecting her people to the rule of the puppet because she had a case of the sads.

Yes she does redeem herself in the end, but that's partly because the MC arrives and ends up intervening. Ei is the only archon so far in the story who directly harms her people (whether unknowingly or not) under her rule. As for the other 3 archons, I could appreciate their own styles and I like them equally. Lol

@@supayambaek Sorry, I misremembered the cutscene a bit. He didn't struggle (I play as Aether) against her, but still I don't think he's ready to face off Dottore. Not only he's far stronger than Signora, he's a lot smarter too. If the traveler manages to beat him now then any future Fatui Harbinger we'll meet (exception being Pierro) will be no challenge at all. I can see him beat Scaramouche but Dottore is another story. Also the victory over Signora is currently the best feat the traveler has under his belt that doesn't evolve outside help (some of them being Raiden and Osial). Maybe I can say that Dvalin and Beisht are better but I don't know if I can say that they're legit that the traveler didn't have outside help (he faced Dvalin with Diluc, Jean and Venti and he faced Beisht with Shenhe and all of Liyue's military). But you're right that he didn't struggle with Signora, that was me during gameplay because I faced her with travler on team cause I like to use him on Archon Quests.

Nahida is the best Archon so far. She actually cares about her people and fights for them. And the saddest part is that her people don't even believe in her but in Rukkhadevata who as we learn in Part IV (SPOILER), her and Kusanali are the same person, only thing being that Kusanali is the form after Rukkhadevata sacrificed her power and knowledge to help her and the Scarlet King's subjects. She's in a similar case to Guoba and it makes so much sense. I hope her people start believing in her after the story ends in Part VI.

This incited a burning desire to overthrow the tyrant. Barbatos was a wind spirit and greatly contributed to this plan. This created the ideology of Freedom of the people's nation. Seeing as Venti, didn't want to be like Decarabian, he created a nation of freedom. Not an anarchy by any means. He didn't to actively rule the nation in a way that he would limit his people's freedom, so he chose to make them independent by establishing the Knights of Favonius. But he also wanted to make sure that his divine gaze is still within the nation so he chose to only come out when his people and the nation's freedom is being challenged and keep a close eye on the happenings. In the story preview it was stated that "What does freedom really mean, when demanded of you by a God? " and Barbatos in the Archon Quest said that "Freedom, when demanded of you by an Archon, is really no freedom at all." Each Archon has their own ideology of ruling. Barbatos is Freedom, Morax is Contracts, Ei is Eternity, and Kusanali is Wisdom, and all of these can be seen with the nation they ruled. Thus why Barbatos doesn't actively rule Mondstat. We can see the differences of Morax's and Barbatos' philosophies in their Archon quests. Morax set his nation on solid rock and grounded it as a nation, yet he didn't want his people to be dependent on him. He realized that even though he set his nation on solid bedrock, it wasn't immune to erosion. In a way, both Barbatos and Morax, both from the pre-archon war and pre-cataclysm, has more or less the same roles in current Teyvat. Both of them has let their nation be independent (Liyue has a government, mondstat has none but has protectors) and both are settling on the peace they have brought to their nation. It's simply a difference in ideaologies yet they bear the same conclusion. Impermanence is unavoidable.

I think Pierro recruited Signora first, then Dottore in the same year. Pierro has a longer lifespan similar to Dainsleif since he's cursed too. But the last wouldn't make sense since signora is like 500 years old since she was one of the first to be recruited by them, and she was personally by Pierro who was the first harbinger overall.

Like some of the physically strongest might be lower as the more intelligent or "useful" ones are higher, such as Childe despite being an extremely adept fighter, is likely not very useful beyond that. Dottore might not be the second strongest harbinger in combat, but he likely is the second most important.

So my guess is that it is a combination of different factors such as: combat power, wealth, knowledge and other things like that. Otherwise I highly doubt that Pantalone (who is extremely wealthy but seemingly weak in combat since he doesn's even have a vision) would rank higher than Tartaglia who lives by combat.

It's if stated by both Miko and Childe that they ranked in power. He is not the second fatui because he wouldn't be even needing to do but fart at travel and he may as well die at this state. P. S I think he was rank 8 or 7 can't remember. If you want further prove here is more. Childe ranked 11 and we beatean him. But when we first met Signora who was either 9-10 she easily defeated us. So yes rank does matter. Although I expecting Childe to rise his rank at least a little.
