Okay, that’s wild…I can do brioche, but have still had to think pretty hard about it while knitting to avoid mistakes. Watching double brioche just made it click!! Totally had a “DOH!” facepalm 🤦🏻‍♀️ moment…I was making it so much harder than it actually is. The stitches make perfect sense, now. Your tutorials are so beautifully clear and easy to follow! Thank you. Can’t wait to go knit a brioche hat I’ve been dying to cast on!!

Is that where you work both colors at once on each row? I literally just heard someone else mention it on a whole different podcast and blew my mind 😂. I'm relatively new to brioche, but I absolutely love it, and now I really want to try this new method too!

@@bakerstknits8342 that’s exactly what it is! To be honest, it’s the only way I can work 2 color Brioche now. I’ve tried working one color at a time again, but it just feels awkward. Not to mention a giant waste of precious knitting time😉

Thanks for the tutorial. Can you show how to recover a mistake from several rows down? I can fix stitches from single brioche, but I think with double brioche, it will be a bit trickier. Thanks so much.

Ok, in my mind I had to find a pattern. Let me know if I understand this correctly. First side you Bark slide, Bpurl turn. Bpurl slide, Bark turn?
