Double Crossing a Friend

The plaintiff used to be good friends with the defendant. She got a credit card in her name for the defendant, but she claims the defendant spent over the limit. She claims the defendant won’t repay the debt, so she’s suing. The defendant says she paid the plaintiff back for what she owed on the credit cards and doesn’t owe her anything else.
