Hey mate. Thx for the mention, I'm famous now ha ha. Yeah the double didn't really stand out too much. When I see Daniel Hibert lawn expert or lawns in good nick do the doubles they just pop and the colour variation is amazing. Maybe the grass type or height of cut can make it easier. The diamonds definitely came up better. Did I hear you say you had another cartridge for your allett. If you do have a scarifier cartridge maybe use that to go against your original stripes and get the grass blade to stand up might help. I have buffalo and I tried the doubles and just couldn't get them too work either so I went back to singles. Enjoying the vids thou mate. Happy mowing. 🌱👍

Looks great. Agred with the singles and 45 degree angle for the double cut. The double double does get a bit confusing! What height are you cutting at?

Thanks, I am pretty sure we are now at a true inch in height, maybe at most 27mm. I don't have one of those fancy cut height measuring tools, so am going off the allet guide and also sometimes put a ball of blu tax on the bottom of the cutting blade and see what the compression of that is on a concrete surface. Either way though, I thing my grass likes 20mm to 30mm as optimal height.

It surprised me to hear you had a pressure washer. For as good as your lawn looks the mold covered house and fence stands in contrast.

I don't own a pressure washer and organised to borrow one. The issues with the yellow strenciling perishing is also a deterent to regular pressure washing as there is a risk it will get destroyed and have to be ground off.
