Absolutely astonishing what ive just witnessed. I was just getting ready to ask has anyone ever won the semis and final in any tournament without dropping a leg before Damon stopped the rot in the penultimate leg and if he didnt pin that D16, it would have given Rob Cross the chance to hit D18 to win 18 consecutive legs. In the end it was 17 in a row, starting from the quarter finals when he was 3-4 down to Noppert but it was simply scintillating from Rob Cross. Someone said last week in the comments that Cross isnt world class. Well i guess u could say that if hes playing darts from out of this world. The win in Hamilton last week gave him confidence coz he wasnt at his best but found a way to win but this week he was in the zone especially in the semi finals. He joins an elite group of players to have won back to back world series titles and hopefully he can carry on this form into the majors. Good run from Damon and it would have been cool if he won in front of his home crowd but a bit of nerves combined with ur opponent on fire makes it extremely difficult but he still played a fantastic tournament.

Peter Wright is done, simple as that, he’s playing like he’s an amateur at best, and pretty much will no longer be in the top 16 of darts. If he continues to play darts, don’t be surprised of him losing in the first round of upcoming tournaments cause literally that is what he can only do at the moment
