Good afternoon Sir... my teacher taught us something, she said *P.E.A.R.L.S* which means Purchases Expenses Assets are debited while Revenue Liabilities Sales are credited.

Excuse me sir hi... My accounts teacher thought me something which i think is pretty a good way to remember what is to be debited, its called.. P.R.I.D.E : Purchases, Return Inwards, Drawings and Expenses are always DEBITED. Anything else i think he said is credited like sales etc

But when i was About to solve double entry questions someone told me that , i will only solve them by identifying whether they are real account or nominal .
