Anyone else notice the Impmum gained an extra health in the last combat ( took 1 damage, summoned malganis for a 2+2 buff, malganis dies and after that the impmum has full health)

Thats the dumb way hearthstone does buffs, like if imp mama was at 1 hp with malganis on board, if the malganis died, the imp mama would still be at 1 hp

If mama is at 1 health, take 1 damage and summon mal ganis, she will end being at 2 health

Because in hearthstone if a +HP buff is removed it only reduces the max HP of a minion but leaves the current HP untouched(unless it exceeds the max HP)

Yes, this is how it works. Otherwise, demons with 2 or less health would die too when Mal'Ganis dies. Health is not actually integer. It can be fractional in the background, but always rounds up on the UI. Say an imp mom has 32 max health. Then it is buffed to max health of 34 by Mal'Ganis. So, 34 health becomes 100%. If it is hit for 1, it will have 33 health left, i.e. 97% of max. When Mal'Ganis dies, imp mom's max health becomes 32 again. So to maintain the correct percentage, we do the following 32 * 97% is 31.04. This is rounded up to get 32 remaining health. Not sure whether this rounding is permanent or temporary, though.

Had a perfect game in Battlegrounds with Nozdormu yesterday with almost exactly the same build as Savjz except I had a double mackeral with poison to counter the last enemy with the ultimate divine shield build with poison murlocs! It was an exciting game!
