Nah, look at the damage total. Whatever happened, the Maexna was ALWAYS going to die. If you then count the damage it would've at most been 6+1+3+1+5+2 = 18, then + 6 for their level and you get 24. Lethality rate either way was going to be 0%.

Dropping N'zoth for zapp when he had golden parrot and golden baron was one of the more confusing plays I've seen from Savjz

jaaki94 He wanted to guarantee that macaw triggered selfless and not N’zoth. If you are thinking “well why didn’t he just attack first with N’zoth” the issue with that is his highest stat minion (goldgrubber) was his only taunted minion and he doesn’t want it dying to poison so it’s integral that the shields go off as soon as possible.

i had once a game with a goldgrubber with about 300/300. we were 3 People with over 20 hp left and the game kept ending in a draw so my grubbers kept scaling in the ende i lost because one of the enemies had dragons and i couldnt get threw the divine shield. i tried ghoule -> it was sniped before the shield was aplied, i tried cannons for small extra pings and they got sniped by his welps aswell. After what felt like 23 turns i got 2nd place but it was still the craziest game of battlegrounds i ever had.

I had the most awesome Finley(Eudora) match yesterday. Dreamline of pirates at tier 3, 2 doubles, 2 grubbers dicovered. I was a rotation to late on digging so dug my 44th the round I went to T4. Boom, golden Grubber. It was divine :D

Spawn isn't bad, but the guaranteed shield on Goldgrubber and the poisonous minions is way more valuable. With 2 deathrattles in play, you can't guarantee you will get the effect you want from Mackaw, as even a golden will give a 25% chance of failure.

Way worse than selfless hero. The stats are hard to compare, but just look at how it plays out and you can see that an extra +4/+4 does nothing in late game.

@@PurpleSidewalk1 With both deathrattles in play, there was a 25% chance of the macaw hitting double selfless anyway (the same as if you sold the spawn), a 50% chance of hitting both deathrattles once each (high roll), and a 25% chance of hitting spawn both times (low roll). The "low roll" situation here is still +12/+12 to all minions just from the Macaw hit, but no divine shields. However, since the golden selfless hero was second and behind a gigantic taunt, you would probably still get all the shields you want anyway, even if you low roll. The high roll situation here is +6/+6 to all minions in addition to the shields you were getting anyway. And on top of all that, in the highly likely event that spawn dies before baron, that's another +6/+6 again to everything still alive. That minion could easily provide 60/60 or more in stats. That seems pretty good to me. Maybe even better than a 7/10 that countered nothing...

today I had the stupidest eudora run.turn 1 dig, roll for token. turn 2 pick token don't play it since it was vs afkay. turn 3 level dig. turn 4 got a golden zerus, had to sell token to get the dig. I choose not to play it. turn 5 I left with 27 hp. zerus turned into golen foe reaper. the 4 cost it gave was a magnetic shield. next turns I had nothing but the foe reaper reaping everyone. then 2 nzoth into a triple. my next golden was a golden baron into a ghosttcoiler. picked up a few parrots. basically had 6 wins after the first losses and ended up with a board of golden units, parrot, brann, 2 goldynns. my third minion was the windfury pirate. executed everyone when I had 7 minions then after losing once, the top2 guy gave up. sttarting with a cleave of 12-18 and transforming into 14-22 right away then 2 hydras which grew to 30-30 after the parrot, finish at 27 hp when I had 27 hp and a single alley cat on turn 4.

Returning the Alley Cat to the pool is a negligible effect. There are 16 in the pool at first, and if you figure one other has been taken besides the one you got, you're looking at a difference between 14 and 15, a relative increase of 7%. One way of looking at this is that selling back the Alley Cat only matters if you find that particular copy again. Another small effect is that if you find both Khadgar and Alley Cat, then you can generate two Tabby Cats at once, which gives another way to get a triple besides just finding two copies of Alley Cat. The downside however is that if you _do_ triple Alley Cat, you will miss out on a golden 2/2 Tabby Cat. But none of that really matters, because the reason you hold on to Tabby Cat is because it's so cute, not because it gives you a strategic advantage.
