I had been struggling for three days with this knot and almost gave up even after reading multiple instructions lacking detail and after watching two KZbin instructions wiithout success until I discovered yours. Now my Half Hitch Double knots look great and are made with ease. Thanks also for admitting this was the most difficult knot for you. I thought I was the only one who had trouble with this. Great job explaining this; I did macrame, knitting, sewing etc, as a child, and wanted to start again… I tried to learn from other videos..none came close to explaining as well as you did. Thanks so much.. I’ll be making a bracelet soon. Just love it!

Thank you so so much, that was the best tutorial I have watched and I watched most of them! You do it nice and slow and explain how the knot should look. You also show how to go the other direction which some don’t show as well.What I love is that you explain how to round the knot or point the know which I did not know as well.wonderful I will keep watching your videos and I also joined.

Thanks for this. I keep trying to do basic macrame and it always fails. You explaining the leader knot vs filler cord is what make it click for me bc I kept getting them mixed up mid pattern or right after I did the first couple knots

Have you made any tutorials on how to create the “s” shape with the half hitch knots? I don’t know the correct terminology, but I see this a lot in Celtic designs.. it seems to be done changing the direction/lead cord every two knots, if I’m understanding correctly, but when I try it, it doesn’t resemble the shape/look of the bracelet’s design, so I know I’m not getting it right. Most tutorials go too fast and many times the demonstrator’s hands get in the way at a critical moment. If you haven’t made one, please do!
