This has been the most helpful video. Thank you so much for going slow and explaining it step by step. Super helpful

I’m so glad to have found your talking macrame explanation. I’m trying to learn macrame in two weeks to make some key chains and your video was the one I needed. Your content is needed. All others mean well but an audible step by step was perfect.

I could not figure out the DHHK/DDHHK until I watched this. You make it very clear and simple! And it really helped that you explained as you went along. Thanks for sharing this video!!

Thank you for a simple slow explanation! What helped me the most is watching your finger holding the filler cord. And then watching very closely how to hold the filler cord going from right to left! I don't know why I was having so much trouble figuring it out. I felt like my brain was in a knot! Lol! I'm good to go now! 👏👏👏

I am trying to make a wallhanging gift for a friend and I am having the worst time learning the double half hitch knot.It makes sense when I watch the video. But some how I can't get it to work on the wall hanging. I think your video is more clear. I'm going to try it again. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Have a blessed day!

Awesome demo video. Do you know of a way to create a letter (last name initial) using this knot (or any knot)?
@MarchingNorth3 жыл бұрын
You can do that using vertical double half hitch knots! I made a ghost wall hanging using this technique and you can make letters too- just figure out the design before you start and it’s kind of like a cross stitch chart. Here’s the tutorial for the ghost kzbin.info/www/bejne/moLNlWiCZ7Omj7M

I am a lefty, do I do the same as the righthanded? I have to start on the right side and not the left, or something. I am not really getting it right.

It may be slow but it's hard to see the angles on the return so you don't see exactly which string to put over which

I don’t like how this pauses at 0:30 and 0:49 and 0:58…The impromptu pauses make it difficult for me to follow. At first I thought it was my do-do internet.
