i have been quilting for years and this is the first time i have heard about pressing starting in the middle. i have had bowing in my strips and have done everyting i know o do bu still had bowing. thankyou for this lesson.😊

The second one is so much clearer, and very pretty. I just made a triple chain using color wash and it was very difficult, because the colors blended together. Turned out pretty, but never again. Lol.

Hello and thank you for tuning in… I have had similar situations where the colors didn’t quite work with the pattern and it can be very frustrating…. But don’t give up, just give it time. Sometimes I have to distance myself from a pattern before I approach it again. The double Irish chain is a wonderful pattern and works up quickly if the colors have high contrast.., I’m actually starting another one soon and I’m almost ready I just need to confirm my color choices.. don’t lose enthusiasm over it just give it time.., you’re doing great and believe me I’ve made plenty of quilts that in the end I was so happy to be done with.. happy quilts Angela The 4am Quilter🥰👍

Wow,were have you been??? Loving this so far ,too funny I just got some red,white and blue to do an Irish chain. Love this pattern. I like this last green that will pop. I like the second pink. Don't like the blue too dark for me! Thank you for sharing.😍🐦🙏
