Thank you for posting this! This is much simpler than the last invisible DK cast-on I used where I had to use two separate needles and then join them together on a third for the first row. Is there a way to make an invisible double knitting bind-off as well? If so, could you please post a video of that? If you could show it in the round, that would be great for double-knit cowls. Thanks!

nkfloofiepoof I use the Kitchener stitch to invisibly bind off my double knitting stitches. Check out both my Kitchener video and Tubular Bind Off video for a tutorial.

but my pattern says nothing about another color it just says "doubled cast on"

+Umm “NaNa” 'Salama I'm not sure that this is the cast on that your pattern requires. It could mean that they want you to cast on with two strands held together. If this is what they are looking for, it can be done with one color. Just use two skeins of the same color to cast on.
