Another week and it doesn't look like the Corona is letting up any time soon so why not take sometime to tune out for today's double motor meltdown. I absolutely love these motor melts especially the ones with an Aluminium casing instead of the usual Cast Iron. Now guys if you want to buy a forge or a devil’s furnace, be sure to email me at bigstackddddd@mail.com to get a personal link to a 5% discount on Devil-Forges eBay And If you like the rings that I wear in this video, be sure to check this link below.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it👌🏻😁.
****************************************************
STEEL FOR MY FRIEND
I keep all my steel and cast iron pieces and I give them to my friend and once he gets about a tonne from me and his own collecting he takes that to the scrapyard and sells it then he buys some beer and comes over to my house and we make a night of it.
No My friend doesn’t have a KZbin channel he just scraps metal in his spare time.

Hello. Everything is locked down here. So l visit a friends metal scrap yard. His familly have owned it forever. They let me come in just before they leave. That way no one is around. I spend mon wed and sat nights taking apart all the motors, fuse boxed. By morning you sure can get a lot of copper, brass and aluminum. Now next week will be busy melting. Its a great pleasure melting.

One of the aspects of your videos that I really appreciate is how you take something that has served its useful purpose and has expired due to its lack of ability to perform the way that it was originally designed to do so. Then you repurpose the discarded motors into something which is inherently unique and beautifully molded and sculpted into the shiny bars which adorn your shelf awaiting its next mission. Looking forward to see that new rig in action too!!

@@bigstackD I can believe it. That's why I try to take a moment to say thanks to talented creators. But in addition to the technical work, I also think your artistic choices are getting REALLY good. One example of many: The motor breakdown sequence. The boss would make us disassemble the fixtures, take out the ballasts, and smack the seams of the iron cores with rock hammers until they split open and the copper spilled out.
