How coincidental is this? Took my dog to the vet for a routine visit and mention my Parkinson’s. She asked me if I ever looked into red light therapy, I told her I never heard of it. She says it really helped one of her friends. I think I’m going to look a lot more into this.

Can you make a video about using the machine and what settings you use? My Dad has Parkinson's and has been following your channel. We ordered the same red light machine and he has been using it for 2 weeks now. He has started to notice small differences already. We went with the recommendations in the booklet that came with the machine, but we would like to know which settings or treatment plan you have found most helpful with the machine. Also, I would like to thank you for making these videos and helping other people with Parkinson's find effective treatments!

Hi Leah, yes I can put that in my next update. Basically, I have everything set to max, sit as close as the manual allows me, and do the maximum daily time(20 minutes) ten in the morning, ten in the evening. So happy you Dad is finding some benefit, I hope it continues to increase. It is a privilege for me to share my journey with so many. I am always on the lookout for something that can help everyone. Thanks for your kind words.😀😁😊

Hi! Thank you for your videos. I have been doing a lot of research on red light panels for my Mom, and this feedback is very helpful. I would let your friend Greg @thetremoringchef know that he should be sure to get his gut area with the red light. I wonder if the size of his panel might be why he seems to be having fewer results than you have reported. There are some interesting studies led by Dr Ann Liebert that use NIR/redlight therapy on the gut as well as the head, as part of a successful treatment for Parkinsons!

Hi Amber, nice to hear your are helping your Mom. I will mention to Greg about getting his body in the light more often. I am very happy with my Rouge Pro 3G, I use it every day. It's like a giant cup of coffee in the morning. I haven't seen the studies you mention, will have to look Dr Liebert up. Thanks for your comment. Any other questions let me know.😊😁😀

Hi David, thanks for your videos. I've been learning about red light therapy and watching a lot of various videos. I'm wondering, do you focus the light mostly on your head to affect your brain? Or just generally on your torso? And is it safe to focus the light up close on the head/brain?
@LifewithParkinsons Жыл бұрын
Hi Nancy, with the Rouge pro version I have I can get my head and torso in no problem. I get as close as I can to the light. I like to get the back of my head before bed I sleep better. As far as I know there are no negative side affects from red light therapy. If you have more questions you can email me info@lifewithparkinsons.ca Thanks😀😁😊

How frequently do you use your red light and for how long?
@LifewithParkinsons8 ай бұрын
Hi Bobby, I use my red light for the maximum allowable time per day in the user manual I do 10 minutes in the morning and I get lots of energy from it and then I do 10 minutes in the evening and it helps me sleep very much. I really notice if I miss a treatment. Any other questions please let me know.
